Ok, so I got some help from the people on #minitokyo@irc.rizon.net with this one. Now I want to know what you people think. I used many hours on the vectoring and it's one of my first tries, so id you say it's bad, I'll lob your arm off. T__T;;

It's really good. I like the colors and the style. It's simple, and yet complicated at the same time. *dizzy* It sort of creates an optical illusion in some weird way. From what I've seen so far, I don't think you need to change anything, except for making the Ouran "Koukou Host Club" lettering a bit more visible by changing that yellowish color to a darker shade, but it's up to you.

Ah. Here's the deal about the text. Every single colour you see on that wallpaper (except the credits at the bottom) are pastel colours. I've been trying to figure out that with the text, and I always seem to end up with white.
Then again, who would want black text on the front head of a character in a bright wallpaper? way too much contrast.

Oh, and if you can't read it, or barely read it, your monitor settings are probably wrong. With the correct settings, you should be able to read the text fine.

I can read it fine. I just thought you might want to change it. But if it can't be helped then there isn't anything to change. It's fine the way it is then.

I would make the text the same orange color as the dark orange in the area above it.

It's definitely better. Great call MistressPookyChan. The words stand out and it goes well with the theme.

Clever concept, simple execution. I like it.

Another solution to the first version's words getting lost would be to use a higher-contrast color around them, like the green, instead of the yellow.

I like the color change. It really fits in well and looks like the letters were cut-out of the yellowish background.

The wallpaper is really cute but maybe try to stick with the pastelly colors and not go to black with the text at the bottom. it kind of ruins the mood. You might also want to change the white font so it's easier to read. I think it would look nice with a border around haruhi so it doesn't seem like she's falling into the bg.
