I could write about love


or another emotion
About life at home
About broken devotion


I could write about honesty
I could write about lies
About how you're so fake
and how I hate your eyes


But that'd be a little too simple
To explain all that I feel
Cause every single thought of you
Makes me physically ill.


It's not like you did it by accident
You made your attack direct
You aimed for my heart
and caused my defect


Welcome to the diary of a lovestruck teen
Sure it's a little depressing but that's just what you've seen.


There's much more to the twisted tale
through the eyes of youth
You wouldn't be able to see the pain
or to point out the truth.


Cause in the heart of every child
thats lay awake at night
listening to the screaming and shouting
from yet another fight


In the heart of every girl or boy
who has had their heart handed to them
and turned to escapes
that in turn made the situations grim.


In the heart of every child that's only been lied to
Never been held close or told something true


There is an unwritten poem
Waiting to be let out
a new escape
a way to silently shout.

I have this fantastic rule about not writing in size one font, and in annoying colors like black and red.

I have terrible eyesight, and I wouldn't doubt it if it's from reading poems that are in negative font size, and in black font. Black against dark blue is hard to read.

Try respecting the rules sometime, kay? I edited your post this time, but next time, i will trash it without warning.

Thank you Bloody, I just put most of my poetry into my journal instead of in threads but this one was a spur of the moment thing.
