Last night I went to the Spring Ball at my school and I kinda had some fun. I saw the 2 boys I liked, but none of them asked me to dance with them. I cried b/c no one wanted to dance with me, but alot of people tried to cheer me up. I wish someone had danced with me. *frowns* Sooooo...have u ever been 2 a dance be4?

Yup. This year were my first two dances. o_O; There was the Fall dance and the Valentine's Day dance. I danced with my friends mostly, and they were surprised to see me dancing. ^^; I just seemed such a goody-goody, but it goes to show, the most quiet ones are always the ones dancing their hearts out on the dance floor.

Oh, and to Zabuza's last post, When I learned to do that, everyone was gaping at me. o_O; I wasn't the only light colored person doing it though. ^^;

I have been to many dances on many occations... Unfortunately not everyone wants to deance with me, until I break it down on the dance floor. It's not about waiting for someone to ask you, Just have fun, be yourself, and don't let it get you down. The next time you go to a dance, show them what you're made of. Break it down your own way. ^_^

Anyways, I have been to quite a few dances when i was in like junior high they alaways end up far to dramaric for my liking. "who didnt dance with who, who did?, what does it mean" or when people start dancing in that air humping way like they are clubbing or something. 13 year olds shouldnt dance like beyonce at a middle school dance, now that i look back its quite disturbing to recall.

the only proper dance i have been to was my boifriends grad, but it was anything but romantic because his mother followed us with the camera. My high school doesnt have dances other then the graduation ones, cause nobody goes. Once u reach a certain age u realise that dances like those are lame.

I prefer to mosh then dance anyways, but i cant wait till i turn 18 and can go to the clubs, i dont drink, so i want to go for the loud music, and Mature dancing situation.

its ok. dont worry if no one danced with you. maybe there will be another dance where you'd find someone to dance with. its not the end of the world. and besides, you're young, enjoy your youth. dont waste it on trying to find a dance partner. just go with a friend and enjoy yourself.

I agree with bibi. It doesn't matter t was only one dance. It might change or twist in such a short time. Until that happens you can just hang around with friends and get the stress out of your mind. otherwise you are going to get a headache.

Oh, and have you tried asking the guys to dance yourself?

That's what I do. If I have no one to dance with, I go find someone. And if they are unsure if they want to, I grab their hand and drag them out onto the dance floor anyways.

Hahahahaha.I remember when kids at my middle school use to bump'n grind at the dances.You're right,it is disturbing in a sad yet funny way.

ive been to a couple dances...
the last 1 i went to sucked cuz the ppl i went ditched me n i was left all alone dancing by myself...even tho i love dancing the part of dancing alone(even tho ppl wer cheering for me cuz they think i can dance lolz) just sucked
n then ther was another dance later on but i didn't go to that 1 cuz i didn't want to get the same reaction

I've been to one dance, but that was during school hours so I had to go. I just sat in the bleachers, talking with my friends and playing Pokemon Blue on my GBC. I've really never cared about dances, and I've never asked anybody before now. Next year's prom might just be the first time that I will go to a dance and be with someone I like.
