I like sad anime. It is just so deep.
Don't rep me I am only a product of my environment.

Do not be jealous of others' good qualities, but out of admiration adopt them yourself.

i like sad anime
life is just a thing..
go and have fun with it.
i usually do just cuz it hits a nerve, i like drama so that's probably why. but if the plotline sucks, then i wont like it. it being sad doesnt automatically make it good, but i wont not like it just bc it's sad.
"Idle hands are the devil's playground..."
why do you think that, well i agree about the plotline but sad and dramatic anime is what makes it good.

Hrmm...Define sad. Sad as in pathetic oer sad as in tear tear. If you mean tear tear then i don't hate it but don't love it somewhere inbetween if you know what I mean. If you mean pathetic then no.
no because it dosent interest me
I like many different types of anime and honestly if it doesn't have some tension or saddness in it, I typically do not like it. Likewise I do not usually like it if it does not have any happy moments either. A balance is best I think, but the reason I feel it necessary to have sad moments is because it makes the story real. At least in my life, it is more about struggling for those happy times and cherishing them rather than crashing in a few sad times. The sad times, the difficulties, are what seem to make my life interesting and help define who I am. This is probably why I feel drawn to anime that also have these moments. It helps define not only the story, but the characters.
Some of my favorites are X, Tokyo Babylon, Rurouni Kenshin, Fullmetal Alchemist and Gravitation. Although each has happy fluffy times, there are very deep dark and depressing issues that the characters must deal with as they struggle to find happiness or at least peace. Not everyone's life story has the typical happy ending; many are bittersweet at best, but you do find a way to keep living and learn to accept what you have and try to find the contentment within yourself. Sometimes what you are looking for has been there all along if you just listen to your heart long enough to hear it.
Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity.
My silence could mean you are not worth the argument.
"For like a shaft, clear and cold, the thought pierced him that in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach." ~J.R.R. Tolkien
As far as i know, that anime doesn't include all of sad things, but the funny thing also. But I'll tell you. Maybe you can try Fruits Basket. In Fruits Basket, u will find many of them. If u want to more ordinary anime, you can try Kyou Kara Maou.Originally Posted by Sakaki Takano

I like sad anime, only if it's really good. Can anyone refer a really good, sad anime to me? Thanks.
Does Chobits count?
Well it's sad that it only lasted 24 episodes... what it was a good show and it had to end that quickly. Why did it have to end so soon?*sniff*... "did you just finish watching the last episode"... "yes why did it have to end!!!!!!!!!?"

Yes, I do enjoy sad and angsty anime...Just as long as it doesn't have a horribley depressing ending....I tend to get rather emotional, lol. ^ ^;

Yes, you are right, "Chobits" is too short. I wish it had more episodes. I would like to see Chii's marriage :PDoes Chobits count?
