I'm watching it now......and it feels like Im watching Sailor Moon again, but different. It's just not the same...they arent bug eyed deformed 5 year olds anymore. It also reminds me of Tokyo Mew Mew fer some reason....and they have some lame excuses to leave class, it seems fake how they do it at the same time........but it makes sense that they're not related anymore

Ya, they looks really super-kawaii, and I suppose its probably better than the original one, but it kinda seems too a bit kiddish and cheesy - reminds me of a girly version of Pokemon for some reason..

I agree that the character designs ARE very cute, but the plot of the episodes are horrible. The fighting is just... crap. Utter crap. And that's saying a lot for a magical girl anime.

I love them so much. When I was a tiny child I'd race around and act like I was Blossom. She's the best. Everyone use to say that Bubbles was but she's just a squeky baby. Buttercup is okay but she has this mad face all the time. Princess is a wannabe brat. Anyway~ in conclusion, as most of you have said, they're cute and adorable.

When i was little i went through the power puff girl phase and my friends and me used to pretend we were them. very sad indeed but i was like eight. i think this looks a tad babyish, not wanting to sound fickle but i'm not keen on the idea, but then agan i am not an eight year old girl anymore.

It might prove popular with a younger generation you never know......

You know, actually its not that bad of a series (at least the manga version isn't anyways). I've been reading the manga in the Japanese shoujo magazine Ribon, and its actually pretty good. I've never seen the anime, so I can't comment on what I think about that, but it does look a bit odd... Anyways, if anyone would care to see some scans from the manga series from my magazines, PM me and let me know, and I'd be more than happy to scan a page or two and send it to you : )

So, I've been watching the first few episodes and I think I actually kind of like the adaptation of the original PowerPuffGirls. It's cute and silly and, even though there's a whole new back story behind the puffs, it's not bad. The cutey anime isn't high up on my priorities, but I didn't find that a had a huge problem with it.

The fights weren't spectacular, but I'm keeping my hopes up for future episodes. The new character designs are really cute as well as their new outfits, but I wasn't impressed by the weaponry either. Buttercup's mallot is kind of fitting.. a little, but I could definately see her with a mace or something of the sort.

The animation is alright because the style kind of fits with the types of characters they are. The story, as I said before, has changed, but it kind of had to. Even though the characters are the same, the old story would have been so boring all over again.. not that there was a continuing story through the episodes. It's something I think I'm looking forward to.

I haven't gotten far enough in to make anymore speculations or judgments on the anime, but I think it's cute and absolutely absurd. I've enjoyed it thus far.
