Finally a good night for Canada. I am happy to see the Sens win .. well at least one game against them.... I hope they can pull a Carolina now and come back.. Their puck control seemed far better tonight but that and their defense still leaves me doubtful.
They're still being held up by their goalie. While Emry isn't amazing he's holding them right now.
Offense is nice and all but without defense you're just going to have a high scoring game... ie Game One.
While the others haven't been high scoring, they've also been really weak in terms of game play. Meh, what do I know I'm just a girl
Yeah but for that matter look how many times Miller has saved Buffalo, I think it would be very different right now if the Sabres didn't have a goalie making such amazing saves (not to say Emry isn't but I've seen Miller saving them more than Emry saving the Sens)

Oh with no doubt. Ottawa has a majorily offensive team, thus the reason you'll see this happen often with them when they go up against a team that has a semi-decent to good goalie.Originally Posted by Sagat

I'm glad to see them win last night but as much as I'd be thrilled to see them advance, I won't hold my breath, even if they did if they went up against Cam Ward from Carolina, they might be in some major trouble. Carolina can score and they got a good goalie.

I see Carolina taking it all the way, Edmonton and Ottawa will most likely be out this round.
The series has been rather shocking though with certain teams prevailing where they shouldn't.
Anaheim though... eh, I don't see them taking the cup. I could see Carolina doing it if they keep up and their goalie stays hot. We'll see though.

Yeah in the incredibly low chance they somehow, magically and by the grace of Allah beat the Sabres, they have Ward to face against. Leaving them two choices:
1. Lose harder
2. Get some freaking puck control/defense and stop relying on Emry
With how easily they seemed to trample Colorado, Anaheim looks like a serious competetor, I don't think Edmonton or San Jose could stand up to them after seeing that, and with NJ and Ottawa getting thrashed, man I never saw this happening when the playoffs started.
In terms of Colorado, yea I saw that coming. In terms of Carolina... nah, but they pulled their first goalie and ever since. holy heck watch out Carolina is trouncing.
So I could seriously see them hit the finals.
Peronally I think something is wrong with the teams this year. All the good ones are losing to thet crappy ones. I was cheering for Calgary cuz the Canucks didn't make it, but I still can't beleive Anaheilm beat them.

Edmonton deserved to win, but in the last game... they didn't play like it.
