Standard playoff topic, who do you think will win the Stanley Cup? The playoffs are already underway.

West:

Detroit will beat Edmonton
Colorado will beat Dalas
Calgary will beat Anaheim
San Jose will beat Nashville

Ottawa will beat Tampa
Carolina will beat Montreal

Flames and Sens .. I kind of hope the Sens win - Ottawa is just 1 1/2 hrs away from here! Apparently in May they are having a Canadian Forces appreciation night and I got my fingers crossed that I can score a ticket or two to a game.

The Sens are going to beat Tampa and that alone makes me satisfied ... beat the team that robbed the cup from the Flames last season .. *cough FIXED cough*

I think of Puns and jokes all the time. That's what my brother is good for, he gets all of my dumb jokes. On one Naruto episode (the one when Sasuke gets all the funny Orochimaru marks on his body) we were making up this joke about Sasuke having this disease we made up called Dilphinium.
Anyway, for something that's more on topic. I THINK Calgary will win, but I'm HOPING San Jose will win. (Damn Canucks getting us crazy Vancouver fans's hopes up.)

We'll...to tell you the truth I havnt watched any hockey this year. But when I did I was a big Red Wings fan, so thats who I'm rooting for. And I live in colorado, so I hope the Aves do well too. But Detroit is still number one in my book.

Yeah I herd that the Oilers have a big competitive issue with the Flames. I think it's because they're from the ssame province. I was in Calgary once when they went up against the Oilers. EVERYBODY in the streets was going mad!! Calgary fans are just as rabid as Canuck fans.
Stupid Canucks though. THEY'VE NEVER WON THE DAMN STANLY CUP!! I hate Clutier, he wasn't in net this year though. I think Calgary has the best goaly.
About the Red Wings. They have some good players, but aren't all of them, like over 35 years old though? I wouldn't think they'd be able to keep up with the younger players. Mabey I'm wrong though.

Man is that an ignorant view. You need the older guys with experience to help lead the team. Experience > just about everything else. A few older guys and their experience with young speed/strength/stamina create a formidable team, cause the experience of those "over 35 guys" is taught to the younger players making the team stronger all across the board

Tell me about it. Calgary has the best city-wide team spirit; it's like everywhere I turn around, someone's got a jersey and a window flag. :3
Kippersof (sp?) is definately a really good goalie. My player is #18, Lombardi (sp?), though. MAN, that guy can skate.

I didn't know the Cens were big fans too. Anyway, everyone agrees with me that the Canucks sucks right?? Did anyone see that last game when they were facing Calgary? They were up 2 0 in the first, then by the end of the game Calgary was beating them 4 2!! It was something like that. Grr... WHY CAN'T VANNCOUVER HAVE A GOOD HOCKEY TEAM??!!!! Seriously, are the Canucks the only team who haven't won the Stanly cup? I can't think of any others?
