Have you ever hated an anime character, then liked them later on?

Regarding InuYasha, I'll have to go with Miroku. When he was first introduced, he was just another womanizing perv. But later on in the episodes, ever since he and Sango got together, he's AWESOME! He's my fav. InuYasha character (even though I still think the show's annoying).

I always hated the third Hokagi and then when he fought Orochimaru and died I like him cause the battle was awesome

I didn't like Sasuke that much in the beginning of Naruto but after he and naruto fought the dude with the ice mirrors he's my favorite character! ^_^

But ever since he died in the fight vs. Orochimaru, I respect him now.

rock lee is hilarious and a hopeless romantic, but he's cool. at first...i hated seshomaru, god he was so rude, then i saw the episode when he met rin and it melted my heart. now i'm in love with sesshy!

Oh yeah, I forgor about Renkotsu. I didn't like him at first, so I stopped watching inuyasha, but when the season came around again, I found that me and my bro were cheering for Renkotsu. (You know that part when Renkotsu's pretending to be good. Then Ginkotsu comes?)

Rachel's father from Detective Conan, I guess. His character grew on me eventually.

I got to say that I hated Hao Asakura T.T how could i've been so stupid? now he's fifth in the list of characters i love. Good he was the only one I hated once and loved later

Yee i hated kikyou form inuyahsa thiking she was trash and him and inuyahsa but later on i did began to like her and sorta understand her story better and where she comes from and all. Even tho i want inuyasha with kagome still and not her and him .

But as I watched the japanese version of Inuyasha and heard her voice I noticed how well it matched and a sweeter/funnier character she was. <333

Now she's my favorite character in the show passing Kikyou.

Yeh let me edit. Sakura. She really has gone allright in the manga now. She has gone up and thankfully has put others in front of her own as well as being nicer to naruto.

I used to dislike hinata in Naruto becoz she is not very useful in the team.
But when she started to learn another jutsu like Neji's, i realised that i started to like her. And she started to be brave too!!

Tin Nyanko from Sailor Moon Stars (Season 5) - I HATED her because she killed Aluminun Siren, who was my favorite of the Anima-mates, but then she redeemed herself by being spazticly cute! I love her!

Yui from Fushigi Yuugi - Ugh, did I hate her. I thought that she had absolutely no reason to hate Miaka and that she was...well...being unreasonable! I mean, yea, I'd be pissed, too, if i was being "tortured" by gross old guys, screaming for my best friend, and she never comes...but hey! No one else heard her scream (except Nakago) so why do you think that she'll be right there! You don't know where she is! How do you expect her to find you? But then...at the end of the first part of the series, she redeemed herself...by being a super, understanding friend! And plus, she was cute in the second part!

Well for me, I hated Ryuhou (Sce) and Kaiba (Ygo) they got on my nervesso
bad but as the serise played out grew to like and love them. But it's werid
cuz' I've always liked Sasuke even though he has the same personality as
them and no I'm not another crazed Sasuke fan I just simply like him.

I used to hate Kai (from Beyblade) but then is the other 2 seasons i relized how cute he is! and then Taichi from digimon I used to think he is just so hyper and hot headed and I used to like Yamato so much but then I ended up HATING
Yamato so much and LIKING Taichi the best (though he is not as cute ^_^)

In the anime "BECK" I used to hate Maho. I thought she was a 5 letter word that begins with a B and only contains one vowel. But as the story progressed, I started to sympathize with her and now she's one of my favorite characters. Also, from To Heart: remember my memories, I hated the main character...until I realised were exactly alike. Lazy, Rude, Opinionated, etc... So now for all those who don't like me, I understand why now XD. Anywho, in NGE (which I didn't think I'd ever like) I hated Rei...HATED. But then, as the series progressed she got much less annoying and more...normal? Yeah, that's it. In the original Mobile suit gundam, I hated char. I thought he was a pompus douche, but then you learn his backstory. And then when he meets Amuro and the gundam then he gets less A-holey.

Yeah, sort of with Greed and the Crimson Dude from FMA. At first I liked Crimson guy more than Greed, then when Greed died I liked him better than Crimson. Now I hate Crimson guy. I did sort of a switch.

well if i would pic it would be gaara. i mean when i first met him i thought he was scary and mean. and i couldnt understand why everyone liked him. but now after i saw his past thing i like him much more. also his sand stuff is awsome! He is one of a fave charaters on the show.

I used to hate Sakura from Naruto. She was soo freakin' weak and annoying!! Sure, she's still a little annoying, but she's a little more strong and confident, ever since that battle in the Forest of Death or whatever.
