my friend was tellin me at school today that Tool IS gonna make the new cd i heard about last year and that he had heard their first new single from the album and i was like you lucky b******. do you think it will be better than all their other albums? i got high hopes about it.

I have it, my friend who works for the Norwegian edition of Scream magazine got me a copy of the promo for the album.
It's out 2.May in the stores.
It's a awsome album, I'll buy the store edition when it's out since I already have their other work.
Can't wait to see them live in July, that will probably be one of the greatest experiences of my life.

Mmhmm, 10,000 Days. May 2nd is the lucky day. I'm going to try and get it the day it comes out. That, or else I'll get it May 9th when the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Stadium Arcadium comes out. Double the excitement. <3

I guess I feel lucky. They're coming to boston, and I've already got tickets. Waha. So, yeah. The 10,000 days CD is incredible. I've already listened to Vicarious. You can tell that the new songs are based off of heavy religious influence, but maybe that's just me.

I agree with you, but this is very normal for Tool.
Religion has been a hot topic through Tool's whole career (all the way since Opiate.)
But it's a lot of mixed topics in this album, as example; hate against the media and the way they show the world all the horrible things that is happening and then again how people love it (Vicarious, Intensions).
I would also say that this is Maynards most personal album.

But then again I belive that every person have to look at Tool in their own different ways as the lyrics, and Maynard himself, are so complex, making the meanings of their songs almost limitless.
