Romantic dilemma: Where do you draw the line between patience and stupidity???

Okay, so if any of you know me, you know I have serious romantic issues. My love life is way out of control. So I have yet another question for all of you: when should I stop waiting around and look for love elsewhere? Where is the line between being persistent and being foolish?

That advice is irrealevant in this situation. Well, I don't think you'd be asking this question if there wasn't something awry in your relationship as is. So My advice would be to end it now. If there was truly love in your relationship, you wouldn't need to ask this question.

Well....we're not in a relationship. It's just wishful thinking on my part. Call it teenaged angst. *sighs* Glad my teen years are almost over....

I don't know the exact circumstances, but if you're waiting around for a friend to be your beau, I suggest try dating someone else.

Either you'll eventually come to terms with them not liking you (if that's the case), or if they do like you, they'll come to terms with how they feel, and be totally jealous of the guy you date.

Well, it's the thought that counts, isn't it? I don't know...I was more asking what people thought in general rather then my particular situation, otherwise I would have explained things (and totally outed myself in the process >.<)

Oh, well I can use my own experiences recently with that.

I think my situation is bordering the line of stupidity. Last night, he was being really childish and rude to me, and even his best friend said that he's being a butt. I dunno why I'm still here though.

I don't know where to draw the line, there's a lot of other stuff that factors in.
