Ok, I know alot of people are going to say that the iPod is a rip-off and that it sucks because it's too much money, but I love my iPod. I take it everywhere with me. I don't think there's ever a time that I don't have it with me.

I have a 60GB Black iPod. I got it for X-Mas, so I didn't exactly pay for it myself (I know it was alot of money, so hush ;P). I recommend the 30GB, just because it's probably more affordable.

I personally would probably lose/forget/break the Nano version because it's so small. But that's just me.
And I wouldn't even bother with the Shuffle version. It only holds maybe 250 something songs, and after you start putting music onto it, that will seem like nothing.

Yeah, I agree with Tsuna Kadiri. I have a 30 GB iPod and it is really awesome. It holds pics, movies, songs, and can be used as a flash drive. When you think about it it's not that expensive it's only $10 a GB. It comes with 30 so that's $300.

well if you really wanted one i would have to say get a black one thats either a nano or 60 gigger

The best value is definitely the 60GB ($400), but the 30GB model ($300) should be suitable for most people. Go for the 60GB if you have the money and you think you need/want the extra space. Otherwise, 30GB will do.

And, of course, get it in black.

I have a 4 Giggy White Nano and it's enough for me. I have like 700 somethings songs, so it's plenty. I carry photos ( thousands, and thousands... ) notes, stand up comedy, etc. I can't hood videos, but I couldn't afford the full size. It all depends on your preferences I suppose. How much music do you want to hold, and do you need all the extra bells and whistles. The Ipod is a quality, but a bit expensive media player. I don't see a point in listening to a 30G or 60G if you only end up using like 10% of the space...so can you be more specific?

This really depends on what you're gonna use it for, and your music library size.

Gonna run alot around and exercise with it? Then I'd stay away from the hard disk based ones, like the 30/60gb, since jumping up and down while running isn't nice to a hard disk. Then go for the nano, since it's got a flash memory, plus is cool and small. 4gb though, you'll need it.
If you've got a large music library though, and don't plan on jogging much with it, I'd go for a 30gb one. It's not that big actually, it's small and smooth, and it plays videos too, which works better than you'd think. I've got like the entire Family Guy catalogue on my 30gb, so I'm never bored. If you've got the cash and want extra battery time and space, by all means go 60gb.

If you're poor and not very cool, get the shuffle.

The color is up to you. No matter what, after a month you'll wish you got the other color.

Get something else. iPods have no features (save for the Video-playin ones), just high price tags and decent amounts of memory. Get an iRiver or something.
