Marvel Vs. Capcom?

Was anyone ever addicted to MARVEL vs. CAPCOM 2 or was it jus me! I love that game and till this day it is my favorite game of all time to me.the seconed one!

S'ok. I thought I'd like it based on the arcade. I bought the PS2 version and sold it a month later. Got boring quick.

Marvel Vs Capcom 2 is utterly annoying in the arcade.

It's like.. Everyone uses Cable and Sentinel except me. Yeah, that Viper Beam.. Really, really, really urks me. Considering that a 7 year old knows the cheese combo.

It is a good game and I love it also, great fun. Not to mention it's one of the main games used in the Evo2k world tornaments which gives me more incentive to play just to enter it.

Anyway, I played it with my friends when it first came out in the arcade. Was fun even though I sucked bad.

I really love this game, and I still own my Xbox version, as well as my arcade stick. I pick it up from time to time, so that I don't get rusty, and the arcade in my college has this game, so I switch up from Tekken 5, SF3: 3S, and MVC2. All of them are 1 quarter, so normally I spend about 2 bucks a week in the arcade =p.

Yes, a lot of people use the cookie cutter teams to win, i.e Magneto, Psylocke, Sentinel, Cable, Storm, Cyclops, Dr. Doom, Captain Commando, Iron Man. Tron Bonne But normally in my arcade, we only pick those characters if we want to win like VERY badly, or we just want to practice on each other with our best team.

My best team:
Storm, Dr. Doom, Psylocke

Spider-Man, Rogue, Jin

Magneto/Storm Team Counter:

I know how to use everyone, at least a little bit, and yes I know how to use that lame Cable combo where he juggles you 5 times with Hyper Viper Beam. Also got the Iron Man Infinite down, and despite the fact that I've been playing this game for a while, I never learned how to use Magneto. I don't really want to start using him, takes too much time to perfect his "lameness." Storm will have to do as my "cheese" character *shrugs*.

But yeah, I'm not good, if you compare me to some other people in the arcade and a whole lot of MVC2 pros that are out there. I'm fairly decent, and can hold my own, sometimes I get lucky and beat a pro once and a while, but other than that I play casually with random teams in my arcade, makes the game less competitive and makes things a whole lot more fun.

I played this game to death when it came out on the dreamcast, but truth be told I haven't played it since then. I think were comming up on three years now too.

Marvel VS Capcom 2 : New Age of Heroes is my favorite 2D fighter ever.

It has 56 characters, 14 playable stages, plus one three part boss stage, and so many moves and combinations and hyper combos, you had to have had it on Dreamcast to master it by now.

It was ported to PS2 and XBox, but only produced for a short time for those systems. It is no longer in production, and I own one of the few copies left in circulation. Some people hoarded them. I still play mine to this day.
