Who decided it was a good idea to have a phsycopath be the One? I ask this because of the great paradox of the Matrix movies: Neo fighting. He's the one, he can fly, dodge bullets, stop bullets, and REVIVE THE DEAD. So why does he fight? He doesn't have to, ergo he must want to fight. And a man who goes around looking for fights is in my book a physcopath and a masochist. Feel free to share your thoughts.

Plus with Smith on the rise, he shouldn't sit around and wait for everything to die, should he? His goal was to free the human race, as they were just batteries for the machines. Sheesh.

Neo was the ONLY one that could erase smith, and the smith that Neo fought was the oricle copy. Everyone else smith transmuted into a copy of himself.

Aw c'mon, do you honestly think Neo HAD to fight all the Smiths in Reloaded? No, he could have flown away then but no, he had to get in a useless fight with 500 Smiths, THEN fly away. Face it, in the Matrix, Neo really does have to fight anyone. And if he can stop bullets, why can't he just wave his wrist and knock the guy into the next country? I'm telling you he was looking for fights.

Jesus, If he didn't fight then why watch the movies? To watch Neo fly away from everyone? No. He fight's because it add's efect to the movie. Also, He tries his hardest to stop Agent Smith right there. Why?? Because Smith want's to destroy the Matrix. Simple as that.

dude, it would be stupid for him just to fly away. He has to stop the smiths. Besides he was ambushed. There was so many smiths, he didn't have those 3 secinds to do that trippy affect with the ground and fly away. Besides this is a producer trying to make some money here. Of course there would be a fight scene.

The Matrix does not revolve around the bible. Jesus did not carry a machine gun and shoot people in a lobby. Messiah is a title not a name. Anyone can be a messiah. It just means that you were seperated or chosen for a purpose.
And yes, he did have to fight, especially at the end when Smith had the same powers he did. If he did not I would have never bothered watching the movie.
