Doom 3 rip off anyone?

Really now, this is the most obvious rip i've seen in a while.

Borrowing the engine really does'nt make it a rip-off, just compare this engine to their 1995 engine .
Considering it had 11 years in the making, I would'nt be so quick to call it a cheap knock off. .Just yet.

Now if only other companies put this much time and effort into developing their games, I'd be happy.

That's not what I meant. I was never talking about the engine, I was talking about the screen shots. The first one is fine.

The second however...

2 gigantic beats coming from a strange portal? The same scene was in Doom 3.

The third screen.

The enemies heads look far too similar to the head's of Hell Knights from Doom 3.

I thought you were going to link us to quake 4. I don't care what anyone says that games look very similar. And since for the most part fps all play the same I'm sure they feel the same too. The big upgrade you can now sort of see since you can hold a gun and a flash light. Ummm, huzza I think.
