I didn't know there was a movie coming out, awesome the game is cool and it should be put together nicely... although it would have been better if it was animated.

HA id love to see a real actress try to pull off Kasumi's "HIGH kick" without being rushed to hospital... in any case i'll watch it when it comes to DVD... besides having beaten all the games to date i already know the storyline and who wins what so i doubt it'll be any more interesting... on a side note though it should be interesting to see just who is casted as who... if i see all hollywood actors playing the roles the film will BOMB... then again if they get asian actresses how are they going to do all the DD cup sizes... anyways i wish the film luck if it comes to print but i doubt it'll amount to nothing more than giving young men another reason to masturbate *sigh*

Judging by the preview, it looks awful. If they are trying to gear it strictly as a commedy, then I think I could stomach it. If they are actually trying to make the movie like the game, then forget it.

OMG!!!!!! Saw the teaser and it looks like it's going to stink as far as story goes, but it will have some "wack-off" value. It should have been animated!

Only actor I've heard of there is Jaime Pressly (Tina Armstrong).
Saw her in Death To The Supermodels (holy that was a horrible movie).

Meh, I didn't even know there was going to be a movie based on D.O.A. I have really only played the original game once, so I am not at all very excited for the movie release. Also I can't imagine myself going to see it...from some of the previous posts it sounds like it will be disappointing, (To me I mean, not to those who really would like to see this movie) but I cannot say for sure because I haven't seen it...and probably never will^^

They fail to show ANY resemblace too the game counterpart.

A DOA movie is hard to make because DOA has no real in-depth story.

The actress playing Ayane is not only 2 freaking old, but she's not even asian...Last I checked, Ayane was pretty asian too me.

The list just keeps going on and on. This is going to be a total suckfest of a movie. Why should I pay 7.50 to see this movie when I can download soft-core porn for free? That's pretty much what it's going to be.

I disagree with this movie, it seems like so much crap, though the trailer posted for this movie is dated from a few months back and the announcement for it was more than 2 years back. In other words it's all old news... very old news, to me anyway. ^^;

This is certainly one movie where pretty girls ain't gonna cut it, it all seems like another Charlies Angels plus more girls. Fighting is boring and dull and seems like a family movie. The DOA4 intro movie has more action and blood than this does, heck even the DOA3 intro also.

Another thing wroung with it is it appears the girls are fighting together when half of them are enemies and don't even like each other.. Kasumi + Ayane = bad blood, Christie + Helena = bad blood... etc..

Costumes don't even resemble that of the games ones, this is really only playing on the sex appeal of the characters.

I didn't like it as a game and I can't imagine liking it as a totally average (or most likely bad) kung fu movie. Want my advice (I'm sure you don't but you're going to get it anyway) go rent drunken master and forget all about this.

Sure the storyline's in the DOA series could be vague, but come on...you have enough to work with for a reasonable movie. Ugh, man so lame...

Well they've made a BloodRayne Movie, so a DOA Movie musta been next on the list.

Yes, I'm one of the few guys who watched DOOM in theathers. Mind you, I enjoy the game and watched it out of curiousity. It wasn't by all means excellent, but at least it kept the general concept of "Hell on Mars" intact. The acting wasn't horrid and the 1st person shooter reference at the end was actually pretty good.

It's a damn shame this movie wasn't done in full CG, but then that would cost a helluva lot more money. It's just sad to see movie studios just grabbing the rights to video game licenses in order to make a movie off it. The only way I'd see this movie is if the girl I liked asked me to watch it with her, and most likely I'd just tell her to watch "Memoirs of a Geisha" instead(which is an EXCELLENT MOVIE although the book was way better).

Alright, enough of my ranting. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to replay from memory all the fun time I had playing DOA4 at GameStop today on the Xbox 360 in the store.
