OK with my large musicaly inclined mind its hard to not remember that Road Runner is a production company that remix's Fear Factory albums.
but disturbed is another matter i quite enjoy listening to there music it is quite amazing how great that guys voice sounds and the whole effect of guitar, bass and drums have always made the music experience much more amazing.

You are right in what you say about Roadrunner in one point, but it is also a "band". They made an album with a lot of Roadrunners artist and gave it out under "Roadrunner United - The Allstar Session" in occasion of Roadrunners 25years aniversiry. It contains artist from bands like Slipknot, Opeth, King Diamond, Trivium, Cradle Of Filth etc... And Fear Factory is signed with "Liquid 8 Records" now (but you are right, they have been with Roadrunner).
But back to topic: Love that album. It's so great, but it's also a bit of a dissapointment. The artists they put in charge are not worthy of it (except Joey Jordison). They should've given spots to Mikael Åkerfeldt, Corey Taylor, King Diamond and Dani Filth. I was really disapointed when I realised those artists only features in one song each that they don't even have written themselves. "In The Fire" and "The End" are the strongest tracks on the album.
Disturbed... I listen to some of it, was suprised how good the 10000 album was. But, the cover is the ugliest thing I've ever seen. The Disturbed mascot is cool, but a yellow cover with a logo font found on the internet, gimme a break. And the "guitar solo" on Stricken. Lol, it's merely a melody line. The drumming is the same all the time, can't almost not hear the bass and Draiman is sounding monotone, although he from time to time serves a pretty nice melodic tune to his voice.
But as said, the new album got some good qualities compared with the former albums. "Land Of Confusion" is a fairly good cover, "Stricken" & "Deify" are not bad either.
