Deaf or Blind?

I'd rather be deaf then blind. It's a lot easier to live deaf then blind. And you can't get yelled at or anything either. Sure you can't really talk, but you can always write what you want to say on paper or something. So being deaf is way better than being blind.(although I'd rather not be either of them)

I'd have to go with deaf. I still want to see the colours of the earth. but it's not easy to give up my hearing either.T.T

I'd rather be blind, I think I could adapt to sightlessness much more easily than losing my hearing. That and the silence would be maddening.

Wow this is a hard 1..... I would Choos Deaf, becasue although I cant Hear but I can See, Feel and Smell too for the other sense.

deaf, because i have bad eyesight already, and it would cost less to be deaf. you know the dog and all... and i'd like to see where i'm going. and i'd still be able to read manga and watch anime.

I would rather be deaf cause then you don't have to hear all the wrords and hurtful things people say to you to break your heart and then you still be happy cause you didne't hear a word they said! ,That way you stay happy and your not hearing what people say about you ,that way you won't cry at all you may cry cause you found out your deaf but anyway ,you would not be hurt or kno if people hated you and not be lied to or heart broken cause you couldn'et hear a word they were saying ! so i would much want to be deaf.

Deaf, my reasons being:
1. I love to draw, and not abstract drawings either (I'm terrible at drawing without looking at the paper).
2. I love to read, and hate recordings.
3. I would much rather refer to subtitles (since I already do) and see a show than listen to the sometimes whiney voices.

Edit: ugh...a lot of little noises annoy me too. Chewing, swallowing, forks, knives, spoons, plates, doors, whispers, turning pages, and the clicks of a keyboard.

Heh, I'm going to follow the crowd and say deaf.
I've been thinking about being blind for just a weak because it's suppoesed to increase your other senses but I'd much rather be blind so I can see the beautiful things in life. Don't get me wrong though, I still like to hang out with blind people, not because I have pitty for them but because it has to be really tough to trust someone and when they trust me it makes me happy to be their friend. Oh man...I'm going on about things again, haha. Sorry for that.

You know, I was thinking about this today actually.

I'd choose being deaf over being blind. Even if I couldn't hear, I could still speak. And I could also read, so there are different ways of communicating besides sign language. Plus, If I were to lose my sight, It would limit me way more than not being able to hear would. Going blind is just a scary thing to think about. More scary than losing your hearing. I think I could deal with that better.

They both suck to me, if you're blind it's like having a wall between you and the world. And being deaf is just to quite for me, and besides you can't really speak to well if you're deaf, you'd sound like a zombie or your speach would be really slurred.
