ps3 vs xbox 360

X360 is impressive, but the improvements from past to next gen console aren't really impressive. At gamespot.com they have pannel by pannel comparisons between the old and new system, and really the only differences are a better rendering system, and closer in-game polygonal links. I've yet to play the PS3 (being that it hasn't come out yet), but it looks very impressive so far. Also, it has something that sets it aside from X360 off the bat, better release games: Metal Gear Solid 4, Visions: Gran Turismo, War Hawk, etc...

For me the real battle will be between PS3 & Nintendo Revolution. A high performace console (ps3) vs. a new step in video game play (revolution).

Anyone else agree ?

The PS3 is gonna own once it comes out all you people who have an Xbox 360 are gonna think about why you wasted your money on that when you couldve gotten a PS3

Xbox Live is coming with alot of new features in the future, and the games that comes out soon enough has great graphics.
Check out the newest Moto GP game that's being developed for the 360, that is quality.

Personally, I don't think I could trust the Blu Ray's that the PS3 will use.

I just find it hard to believe that for as long as optical discs have been out developers are just now realising "hey, if we use a light with a shorter wavelength we can fit more info into the same space." Blu Ray's probably don't read as nicely as the DVD's do.

Also, I find the PS3 titles so far to be... well, boring. I may get it later on when they finally make some good games (and the price drops), but I'm not gonna waste my money on another dust collector.

I'm just angry at Microsoft's marketing department right now. I've had my 360 preordered for months and GameStop get's barely any units while Best Buy get's 20-40 per store.
