Who is your favorite manga-ka (manga creator)

For those of you who don't know, a manga-ka is the person who creates the mangas that most anime are based on (such as One Piece, Bleach, Naruto, etc.) Personally, my number one favorite such person is Oda Eichiro, who creates One Piece (best manga EVER). But my second choice is definitely Oh! Great, the mind behind Tenjou Tenge. Not only is Tenjou Tenge a masterpiece, but all of his work has tremendously good art and quality fanservice that works WITHIN the story. Hoping I can find some of his other works around the internet. Look forward to seeing the responses

I like Osama Tezuka! He created Astro Boy and Metropolis, and I think Steam Boy too! He's considered the father of all manga I think. But I also like Natsuki Takaya too. I love Fruits Basket!

OH! OH! OH! i LOVE rumiko takahashi...she's definatley my favorite! she's been around for YEARS so if you don't like her, you should at least respect her. she has created manga for almost every single genre and she has sickening amounts of characters (who, by the way, make her even better). she is...my GOD!

How about Kubo Taito (the creator of Bleach) or Akira Toriyama (creator of Dragonball and Chrono Trigger). Those two are the rest of my top 5.

Masamune Shirow(Everyone knows him from GitS and Appleseed). The man is GOD of manga. Coming in second and third are Nobuhiro Watsuki(Kenshin), than Ken Akamatsu(Love Hina)

Edit: woops, i forgot Akira Toriyama (DBZ) bump Akamatsu down to fourth.

Shirow will always be my favorite(just got intron depot two, which makes me freaking happy, all of his best "Blade" work) Just because i love everything he does.
Watsuki will remain in second because Kenshin is my favorite manga, second only to shirows work.

Yuichi Kumakura, the genius behind King of Bandits Jing...great artwork, great plot-ish thing....some dark undertones, over all greatness. And, one of my favorite drawing styles.
Tsutomu Nihei, who did BLAME!...perhaps has the best drawing style I have ever seen(an I have seen quite a few).
Masashi Kishimoto, the god behind Naruto. The artwork maintains a Shounen style, but the quality and overall ability he demonstrates is amazing.
Masamune Shirow....just demonstrates a damn incredible ability to draw and create characters and plot....
Tohru Fujisawa, a manga-ka a admire just out of the sheer ability to create a great character driven plot.

I always forget Kumakura when I talk about this, even though Jing is one of my all-time favorite characters (although I liked the anime version of the series a little better). I should also mention Kou Fumizuki if I didn't already, because Ai Yori Aoshi is the best harem series I have seen (and I have seen quite a few).

If nobody mentioned him yet, what about Kentaro Miura? Berserk is one of the longer on-going manga series out there, and it is very excellent.

My favorite one is Shotaro Ishinomori( he did Kamen Rider, The Skullman, Kikaider, Cyborg 009, The Blue Zone, Android V, etc.) I love the king of manga.

Also I love Osamu Tezuka( Astro Boy, Black Jack, Metropolis, etc.) His stuff is good too.

I perfer the more original manga-ka than the new ones.

I just finished reading Flame of Recca, and I have to give major credit to Nobuyuki Anzai. That manga is a freaking masterpiece, as well as Houshin Engi by Ryu Fujisaki. Never remember those when I talk about manga but they are definitely among my favorites. It is a shame the Houshin Engi has not been licnsed, because I would really like to have the books for it.
