i think we love because it's needed. a world without it wouldnt survive and not just because of reproducing purposes. would you want to live in a world without love?

i guess i aslo believe in deeper connections with people, like souls connecting and stuff. o well ^^;

I'll try not to say something too cliche. Well, lets see... People can achieve extroadinary things through the feeling of love. Then again.. love is generally a necessity for people. So i guess thats kinda like saying 'cars can perform so good with petrol in the gas tank!'. Anyway, people need love. When people arent loved they become kinda unstable.

OOW! Hot topic! LOL It's true eveyone has their own belief about love. And it's true some feel it doesn't exist because of past failures. Myself, I stand undecided at the moment. I have long stood with the idea that it either didn't exist, or just didn't exist for me. But I have to admit I might be wrong. I have found someone (from here) who might just be my soulmate. For a long time I've hated couples because I was alone myself, but now I just,,, well I still don't like them. But at least I might not have to always be alone, destined to never find that special someone. One's view of love is like everything else, can change under the right circumstances.

I don't know. With most relationships I see, it's mainly about how hot your boyfriend/girlfriend is and it's about sex. If you've got both of those things in a relationship, you've basically got love. It just doesn't make sense to me.

Love is endurance, you give eachother forum. When you first tasted love, you feel like theres a butterfly in your stomach and a rose blooming in your heart.

There are so many things in love, and relationship. Especially "seperating", as i experienced. Maybe in the past, he was a very very important person to you, but now...? he left you. It is normal that things like that comes to a relationship, so this is why called "endurance", gives the freedom to eachother.

There are many peoples are depressed about breaking up, yes, it does hurt. The whole world knows that you're depressed, but when will you stop tearing? Actually, he/she didnt leave you, just that you want him/her to leave. Bless him/her.

Some pplz wonder why a loving person changed to another person and not loving you anymore. Maybe you feel like...she/he is a total stranger to you now compared back to the past. Well yes, changes happens, everyone does change because he/she was from another time, the one now is from this time. Totally different pplz you're seeing.

In my perspective, love is sweet but only for a moment, it'll hurt at the end, let it go.

2. A concept which angsty teenagers deny exists because they have yet to find true love, not realizing that it can not be found as easily as they think.

I agree. Who would want to live in a world without love? It would be so dull and boring. Life would have no meaning. People have gone crazy from the lack there-of. And also the love of your parents and your friends...

Never dated, never agreed to ANY kind of date...casual, grou, etc. Nothing. Then I met me boy, and here we are...together just about 5 years. And more crazy about each other every day.

I see we have plenty of thinkers here. And I'm loving it! About time we got another in-depth topic.
I had given up on love quite some time ago. I've had my share of REALLY bad relationships and had developed a slight hatred of females. But now I find myself quite confused, because I find myself falling for someone who I have never actually met face to face. I try to remember to take it a step at a time, but I find myself wanting to be reckless and just go for it. I've spent alot of time learning not to feel anything for others, but now it's all out the door. My heart races when I hear her voice, I dream of her when I sleep, and I imagine all the conversations we have when I'm awake.
Ever day of our lives, we change from what we were the day before. The only difference is how much we change from day to day. In a matter of days I've gone from hating and dispising love to anticipating hearing her voice because she makes me feel as giddy as a school boy.
I do have to disagree about love always being a good thing though. Even love has it's dark side. Like stalkers and stuff like that. There are times when love is wrong. All we can do is hope that we find the right love.

Ah, I know that's not always the case. There are couples out there that are committed to each other, there are even a few in the craze of High-Schoolers I see everyday.
It's nice to see something different. For a change.

To start it off. I do believe in true love. I secondly say, I do not believe I have felt it yet. There are many different types of love, in which I believe. Love for an object is quite different (or can be the same O.o than loving a real person. Unless your that person who talks, snuggles, and kisses your object of possession. O.O;; Anywho. Soul Mates I also believe in. I think, only when you have found your soul mate can you actually find true love. ^_^ Love can make you strong or it can make you weak, depends how you handle it. I think, overall, love is great. <3

The thugs- Don't believe in love

Preps- appearance and wealth also maintaining good connection with parents, certainly go for the highest availability or popularity

Goth- umm some of the love issues here freak me out.. bondages and partner bloodsucking. I still wonder.. though some things are best not to know

Family peeps (including myself)- only wish to be with one person, picture ahead and day dream of what it'd be like to have a wonderful life and family.. true happiness when it all works out so well.. a shame some things never last forever or ever come true
