people with more than one name
My question is that, Should people have more than one registered name, to affect the votes of some events? This question is more to the administrators, then to the public, But the public can also qnswer this question.
I don't think so.
Even so i think there are measures to prevent one from having multiple accounts that like only allowing a particular email address to be only used once because you have to confirm the email that was sent to you when you first registered the account in.

Even doing as Demented Demon said, that still doesn't prevent much. I have several different e-mails. In which, at times, I take advantage of.

We can check the IP, so it's not a problem. This has happened before in some of the AW voting, and I had their vote(s) disqualified.

i dont think so! it sucks to have two names! my sister has two names and she suffers from that!!
I rather keep it with one acount or i get confused with the passwordslol. I do not have two names but i do have a lot of nicknames from friends and family

I would be bothered by the fact that I would have friends on ONE account and friends on ANOTHER account that I must keep track of.

Ugh, my brain wouldn't be able to separate the 2 accounts if I did that. But if your brain can, then totally do it. Just be responsible and let the voting take it's course. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to trust the info hee.

Sometimes it is useful to have another account. I have another account, but that's because this account doesn't work on other computers. My other account is just for games and stuff...kind of like a back up.
I have an old one- some ppl have 2 because they recreated themselves- my old one is Cassamei and I haven't been on it in forever- so it's not really bad if you have another account and ur not using it---my opinion

now, using multiple accounts for "cheating", spamming (aka talking with yourself, and other stuff) here isn't alowed. We are able to see IPs, and we take action for that.
i have more than 1 name and i have no problems. course, it makes sense that what Wizzard said is not alloud. stuff like that can be anoying.

The only reason why I have a second one is because my password for this account doesn't work on any other computer besides the one I use at home.... A couple friends of mine also use their accounts on my computer. Why? Cause their internet sucks. (Or so they say...)

I only have one and i dont see the point in having more than one because if you get banned so does your other one because it has the same Ip. so it deosn't matter there is no point have two or three or how many you can think of because in the long run it would just be stupid.

I think having more than one name to affect the results of polls isn't alright and shouldn't be tolerated. One name should be enough for everyone.
Then again, if you have multiple names just to post with all of them and not use them for an unfair purpose, than I don't see how it negatively affects anyone...

It's not a problem because the admins/moderators can check their ip and match it, and I have two other names but I rarely use them. --;

having a lot of usernames is confusing..i mean think of all the passwords you have to memorize..and you might get banned anyways.....so i prefer just one username...
