Yet I'm still not sure if there's a god up there..

Well...I recall that a thread like this was closed before because the second someone believed in a religion that not very many agreed with posted, a verbal war of sorts broke out.

But back on topic, I'm a christian. THough I do question a lot of the logic of the bible.

Existentialist/Catholic/Evolutionist/Scientologist/I don't know.

I believe in a lot of things, and narrowing my beliefs to one specific label would be nothing short of creating a new religion - "Krsnikism". There are a couple of things you stay away from in life. One, Religious debates. The second, scientific debates. You can't prove either side, no matter how hard you try.

Don't take this personally, but I notice that some people's religions don't match their beliefs.
Example: "I'm Muslim, but I find the Koran wrong in so many ways."

The Muslim thing was just an example though. I'm Christian.

Atheist, here. If there really is a "Higher Being" that created humans perfect only once, then scientific evidence is reeeaally working against him. <<' Physical evidence, at that. My mom is a catholic and my dad is an atheist. I had to choose one way or another, and I question many things in the bible. It just confuses me. o.o'
Even though I'm an atheist, I believe that anything is possible. There might be a God, there might not be. Who's to know until they see it with their own eyes? That's just my thinking, though. <<' And there's no way I could ever be Jewish, because I can't even do the Hora. T-T It's like...one of the simplest dances I've ever seen, but I was tripping over my own feet. It's kinda' sad... xD

I'm Catholic too^_^, but I don't belive in having to go to church. Theres way too much hipercrits(I think I spelled that wrong) it gets me mad ever since I remember people started cuseing right after geting out of the door so I stoped going and I pray at home where there is peace and quiet(sometimes)

I'm not really a religious person. When I was young, my mother took me to a Morman church. I was a really religious Morman then, but my mom broke away from that religion and is now a spiritualist(sp?). I'm now my own religion, which I haven't decided all of it yet. ^^; But I know that I'm none of the known religions, and I just do what I feel like.

ok. Thats is what you and most people believe including me but some people think different and I don't blame them. It's sometimes hard to believe that he is here to help if he brings hard lives for some for no reason and easy lives for horrible people. I just had to bring that up.

You may believe that, I respect you for your loyalty ^^! Just keep in mind that many people don't believe in God. Please don't get discouraged when hear what others have to say. Like I said, you are free to believe in anything, and I'm not gonna stop ya' ^^!

Anyhoo, I'm Pagan. For those who don't know don't know what it is, it's an ancient Celtic religion that came WAY before Christianity. Most of Christianity is based off of Paganism. I'm not Wiccan though. I don't believe in all this hokey-pokey witch-craft crap. I believe in our inner-gods and goddesses. Everyone is a god. I feel that I am Artemis, goddess of the hunt and fertility. I'm taught to respect any religion, and learn about them. I also envoke the elements. That's why I wear a pentacle (a five-pointed star surrounded by a circle). The five elements are fire, wind, earth, water, and spirit. That's just sums it up, I don't want to get into any details.

god will help u if u trust that he will, and bad people living easy lives? how so? doing drugs? addicted to smoking that it owns them, they hurt themselves, and bad things will catch up to them if they dont cause them to happen themselves. u trust in god , he will make things go your way , but i honestly dont see how they live easy lives, u also may think they do , but u dont know everything thing that goes on in their lives , they dont tell u their problems , no one has an easy life. and especiallly if you a teen u will think they live easy lives , like all the popular kids have everytning , but u are most likely wrong

*sigh* you completely missed my point. If you look at it from your angle of thinking right now, all of our lives suck and none of us live happy lives. I am looking at it from a bit of a pestamistic point of view. One, don't ever say that people that do drugs and cigarettes are bad. Just for insulting my mom you will go to hell for that. Secondly I wasn't talking about them in the first place. I was talking about people like OJ Simpson and R Kelly that get away with things and live above average lives. Also there are people around that are major thieves and end up living until old age without horrible problems that some people get when they are really little. How exactly can you say god will help you through things when he gives some people horrible diseases at a young age and kills them off just to teach someone a lesson?

I don't believe in the Christian God. I'm not addicted to drugs, and I never intend to be. I don't smoke, I'm a pretty good student. I love my mom, and she's taught me very well. I care about more people than some religious people.

I'm a hodgepodge of beliefs. Up until very recently, I was an atheist, pure and simple... but about a month ago I abruptly decided to go back to Wicca. Now I'm a solitary eclectic Wiccan.

Solitary eclectic Wiccans have the freedom to stretch boundaries... for example, I can believe in just about any gods, goddesses or combination of the two. I happen to believe in the Greek goddess of air, Khaos. I was born with a water elemental affinity, but for some reason I have a stronger bond to air. *shrugs*

I don't try to convert other people, as I believe everyone has the right to believe what they choose... and I appreciate people who do the same for me.
