This is me first one... drew it 3 days ago. I'ts me thirt serious attempt to do a proper anime drawing. here it ish :



I tried to make it Chibi, but I can't draw bodies yet, so It's a misc. Style XD. I'm pretty proud on the head thought...

Plz give coments... I need all the feedback I can get

It looks somewhat like a chibi, buy the body could stand to be a little smaller. There's not a lot of detail, but chibi characters are supposed to be cute, so detail is not needed. That's waht's so great about them. ^_^ Great pic dude.

It's not my style... but it IS very good. The head is good... the body could be improved though. Just proportions.... I don't know if that was the effect you where going for.

It supposed to be a demon-girl, but I think it looks more like a boy now.. Cool to me too! XD A girl on an other forum called it 'the yought Dracula'... I like it :P

Oh, and I started the CG-ing!far from done yet, but the coat ish allmost done ^_^ see the attachments

I like the second drawing a lot. Although the head seems a bit abnormally large. Also something I noticed,is your shading skills could use a little work. Other than that very nice. ^^

about the size of the head: Hmmm, I kinda like it this way *thinks*... Ah well...

About the shading:
If you mean on the drawed: I don't use alotta shade on the drawed pics, I don't really care... 'Cause I wanna CG all me pics...

If you mean the shading on the CG: It wasn't done at all! (I thought the cloath was, but when I took a closer look ....0.o; )

I have done only a little today, but it's a large improvement on the cloath allready ^_^ see the attachment!! ( I only worked on the cloath... And I haven't done the upper part without the arms yet!)

I actually like Chibi one better, but that's just me. A lot of artist have different styles. Though in anime they do have expressions where the head becomes bigger. I don't draw anime myself though. If you're not good at shading you should start out small. You could try shading in the circles around the trench coat and even the eyes. It won't be a lot of shading, but it'll make the picture stand out a bit more.
