This wall is of Chii obviously... I need some pointers on how to clean up her hair a bit more and things like that. Also whatever else you all decide might need to go on. Please keep in mind that I am working with Macromedia Fireworks MX.

What is the theme? There is a provocative chick in a blue shirt... in a grunge background? Try to find a focus and a mood for the wallpaper. Then, things will blend better together.

Well, I don't know nothing about no Fireworks MX or anything like that there. But what I do know is art. You have a fine wallpaper there,,,,,, but you need something in the upper left portion. You have too much empty space, fill it in some. A nice phrase, poem, title, or something would help add balance to the picture.

I'm wondering... why is something needed in the left side? Don't many people have icons in that area? I think that instead of words or some cheesy emo rock lyrics, there could be more design elements. Many people use brushes or photo manipulation. This is much better, and looks better behind icons, than some text. Very rarely are poem/lyrics wallpapers done well.

I think you should make the ground more reflective looking because right now I see the ground and a background but somehow you need to define it a bit more visble. I think it's icon friendly not non-Macs.

i have an idea why dont you coppie chii (only chii) and lower the ocupacie (stfu cant spell right now) then enlarge her so it looks cool like that or something of the sort?

Thanks for the suggestions everyone! I tried to get rid of the empty space, sorry no poetry/lyrics they just don't fit. As far as a mood, well it feels chilly and dark to me... but that's just me.

Hmmm, the spiked edges you added to get rid of the empty space really doesn't appeal to me. Not quite sure what it needs but I just don't like the odd white edges.

To me, Chii doesn't fit. The main issue is that her coloring (shirt, etc) do not fit. But, this can be easily changed! How about recoloring her shirt?

I don't know what program you are using, but in Photoshop...
1) make a new layer, and put it just over the chii layer.
2) select the new layer. select black and a paint brush, and color where the shirt is.
3) in the layers menu, choose "color" or "hue". This will change the color of the shirt. Pick the one you like the best and think that fits best.
