Jealousy.....

Jealousy can is it a bad thing or can it be a good thing and if so where is the line of it becoming bad. Tell me how do you feel on the subject


Personally i think jealousy can be a good thing. It lets the other know that they luv them and value wat they have with them. However i think it becomes bad when the person is all up in your business asking where are u going and who u going wit all the time. Another words its good until the person becomes parainoid and doesn't trust you anymore. However u can't complain if you have done something to cause that such as cheating.

Personialy I think that jealousy is a pretty bad thing. Wanting something of value that another person owns leads to crime(theft) and things like that.

They don't call it a little green monster for nothing. I had a boyfriend, and now an ex boyfriend because jealousy turns into obsessive compulsive disorders. Not a good thing, at least in my opinion.

Jealousy is the stupidest emotion. It has no positive value in it, and when you contemplate over the situation, you logically realize how STUPID it is, how you're getting riled, thus resulting in anger at yourself, PLUS the jealousy that refuse to go away. Jealousy doesn't cause by things just the way ppl handle them. Anger, hate, love every emotion can be bad if thats the way you handle it or exspress it. Even religon can cause such things alot of wars have been fought for such things.

Hmm... There are different kinds of jealousy. Some I suffer from, some I don't.

I never get jealous of what other people have; I'm happy that *insert name here* got a new truck. I'm never jealous of other people when they are doing well, and I may not be.

However, I tend to get very jealous when romantic love is involved. But that's where it goes weird; sometimes, I can be so jealous that I just turn red in the face. But other times it doesn't even trouble me, and I just don't care.

Example: I am really romantically interested in this one guy right now; he doesn't know it, but I am. Sometimes I see him talking with another girl, and I get very jealous, even though they're just talking. Other days, I see him hugging another girl, and it doesn't even bother me. I'm just weird :P

Jealousy is just an emotion that is okay to have, as long as it doesn't get out of control.

Jealousy is my weak spot, im very weak at facing pplz who has something that i dun have, especially...seeing a girl around my ex would make me feel like exploding like the volcano. But i never be jealous often.

Sometime jealous can lead to alot of endings but it all depends, i know when i was in 7th grade, someone was very jealous of me cos i could be in conditioning PE class, then in the locker she pushed me to the locker and pretended that her butt hit the locker door on accident. Then threw rocks at me on the track and i ended up going to the hospital...

Jealousy can end up anything, ANYTHING i say, no need to be jealous of anyone.

Good Jealousy:

I'm out with a guy, another guy starts whistling and even walks over and asks me out. My bf glares and tells him to get the hell away or even knocks his lights out.

Bad Jealousy:

I went out with a male-friend or mine, my Bf finds out, thinks I'm cheating, knocks my lights out o.O; Baaaaddd.

I personally don't think jealousy is ever good. Like, it's nice ot know that the person cares enough to worry, but if they're jealous, it means they don't trust you.

Every relationship is built on trust, so if there's jealousy, there can't be all that much trust.

I have seen to many examples of how jealousy distorts reality and ruins lives over nothing. *I am not taking about me either =p* In my opinion it is a hard emotion to control, and can be very destructive if it is taken the wrong way, or acted upon in a negative manner. I find I become more envious than jealous, but even if I do become jealous, it is nothing that soars out of control to the point of me wanting to kick some serious behind...Anyway, I don't believe jealousy can be a good thing because all too often it can be blown out of proportion with terrible results...not always, but often.

Good points ...... I whole-heartedly agree with that assesment. I too have seen jealousy get out of control (and I include myself in this) and hurt too many people in the process. I have struggled to keep my emotions under control for the last ten years, and can say that jealousy cannot be regarded as much else other than bad.
