Real or just our Imagination

Have you ever wondered about life? Like is this the real thing we are living at the moment...or is it just like, imaginary. What if, when we are sleeping, that's real life, and when we are awake, it's a dream? How about the Matrix, what if something like that were to happen? What do you believe is the real life?

Yes but do you know that. And No, I haven't. THe only Matrix movie I have ever seen, was the first one, and about 3 years ago.

I am not sure but to some extent life is real but to a whole other extent it is part of our imagination but mostly it is part of our imagination.

Personally I have wondered about that... then I decided it wasn't worth the time I spent thinking about it. If we were living in a dream... and then we woke up only to realize that all of this wasnt real, all I could say is it sucks. There's not much we could do about it. We live a life here, and the next morning we're somewhere completely different.

Just to ease my mind, I tell myself this is real; then again, what is "real"? For all you know, our dreams might be our "real" life, and when we're awake, we're actually sleeping. Life's a mystery (as cliched as that line may be). We have no idea what's going on, and we never will

Just live in the moment, dont worry about the truth of it all, 'cause in reality the truth is all a lie.

I will believe this life I am currently living is the real life until I am proven wrong. I try not to spend too much time thinking about this, because it is only a "what if?" question. There could never be any evidence to back up someones claims of a "real life".

It would be neat though if we were really living in the Matrix 8)

Ghosts, no. Spirits, yes. There is a difference, trust me. Ghost is part of the pagan religion I believe but Spirits are of any religion that believes the dead hang around, I believe that they are always around though in another realm if you will...I know it sounds odd...but it's like the world is one place and they live here like we do, but their world is different and closed to us, like ours is to them...>>;;

Hey, I always think about that. Whether this life is real or not. I say.....I'm not sure. There is no proof for either way. Some say that if you bleed, and you aren't "dreaming", then it is real. However, you can feel pain in "dreams" too.
Another mystery that we may never solve.

I've always though reality is what we make of it. An individual's outlook on what is real is what shapes reality. It's the consensus of everyone here that makes things as they are. A "collective subconscious".

To answer the guestion about "ghosts", I agree with Guin. There aren't ghosts, they're just wandering spirits. The ones that are reportedly seen are just the spirits that have a stronger tie to our world than the others.

I understand you both. Though it is freaky to know they are in the same house as you....I know my Mom is in my house at night...She is waiting for me...I have these lights in my windows, and I turn them out everynight. And my aunt usually sees them off and gets pissed and then I get grounded or have to do chores...so, one night she and her friends were out, and I turned my lights off, and went downstairs to get something...when I came back up, they were on. I was also home alone. So I was kinda freaked out, but I knew that she had to of done it...
