Whats a really good game for the PS2?

Hi everyone. I have'nt been up to date with my games recently, and they're becoming really boring. What would be a good game for the Playstation 2?

devil may cry is boring.you have to keep doing the same old things.ffX is great though.theres loads of sidequests and stuff(same with X-2).

Try some of the different platformers and action titles, like "God of War", which, mysteriously is included in both genres. By the way, another good one is "Ratchet + Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal".

You're better off ignoring both of those posts. I suggest buying the excellent katamari damacy.

There are tons of great games on the PS2 that are often overlooked. I highly recommend:
1) Ico; it's slightly old, but has gorgeous graphics. It's a must-have if you enjoy solving puzzles and teasing your brain.
2) Soul Calibur II; my personally fighting game ever. Has good graphics, very solid fighting and tons of unlockables.
3) Psyconauts; my favorite game ever. Provides unique gameplay, and incredible replay value.

Of course, the ones mentions by past posters are also excellent picks. These are just my favorite three.

Forget about the Final Fantasy and Grand Theft Games, they get old very, very ,very fast.

Pick up, Shadow Hearts,Convent : Shadow Hearts, Zero Divide * For the psx , but when used on the ps2.
Sky Gunner. Armored Core 2, Beyond Good and Evil and Space Channel 5 Special Edition.
