focus on school or work...take up hobbies...stuff like that

Yes there are things that give you temporary relief but in the end only time can have you content....I understand the feeling of losing a lover...but its nothing compared to the fact that if I continue to be upset and wonder about it...ill fail in helping others..or in school...or my job....Like I said learn to live with the stones that life throws you and move on

The only cure for you is the time, but until then you can keep yourself occupyed with different activities like gaming and hanging out with friends.

Gaming will only last for the duration you play it. I view it as a temporary escape from reality. In your case, only time will make you forget. Just do your best to move on with YOUR life.

I think like Zankoku...he's right...time cures it all and forget someone. The best you can do now is be busy doing hobbies,go to school and go out with friends!That0's what I'm doing now to forget someone...

Yes, you can occupy the time with other stuff, but the pain is still there, buried not-so-deep. I loved someone, but she didn't return my feelings. I was so heart broken, but it has been 3 months and I have the stregnth to go one because of my frineds. Their support is invaluable.

Zankoku has a good point, but really, there's nothing you can do to forget someone. ecause you can only keep yourself so busy, and new lover would just remind you of the old one. You can't keep your mind of things that've affected you deeply, it's not possible. "Time heals all wounds", but time can only do so much. If you want something to go away, you have to accept it first.

Time and hanging out with other people or gaming several ways to forget someone but it is worse when try to forget someone but u cant

I think forgetting anything, even unwanted experiences, is something immature and wrongful to yearn for. But, time and other activities will eventually overlap and etch away the "unwanted memories" you harbor. I think forgetting is the worst thing that can happen to anyone. :<

You could try to forget them by ocupying yourself, but I personally don't think that you should forget anyone because everyone has been and will be forever a part of your life. By forgetting them you loose that part.

If your trying to make yourself feel better, though, find an activity you enjoy and just do it(hanging out with friends, a sport, etc.)
