Hmmm...lets see they liked each other as kids, they spent a long time in the country growing a bond then they get married. That sounds down right plausable, where as in ff8 "rinoas gone crazy! I love her i must save her!" which came out of nowhere. Great love story.

I guess im biased because im a gamer who relies heavily on the story. I play for cutscenes, not for "gameplay".

Then watch a damn movie, people like you have no idea what makes a game play well.

Ep1: Anakin was a kid.... Padme was... not so much a kid. More like sisterly love here.

Ep2: Love went kind of fast here did't it? Fell in love and got married...

Ep3: Spent almost no time together and Anakin almost killed her in this one...


In FFVIII, you should pay attention and not button-mash your way thru the story... The bond between Squall and Rinoa continues to grow steadily thru-out the entire game... And there are several other things that need finding to get more of thier story... You have to put things together and analyze the story...

ff8 is ok but i like ff9 better even though the person who made the graphics for ff8 died befor ff9 came out

I'm not going to argue with you mista because you're a final fantasy fan boy and you always will be. As bad as the ep1-3 love story was it never comes close to being as hollow and arbitrary as ff8.

I have to say one think..All the series of ff are the best. i have finished ff8 11 times and i am already playing it again to finished it for 12(don't ask why. i am gathering the cards, i still have only one gf to take and i am talking about the gf that makes up to 9999 damage..), ff7 is extremely good to!, and ff9 is the best of all the PS series in graphics (well i am not talking about the story line because all ff have the best story lines)........

In few words FF series are the best!!!

I love FF8 it has the most beautiful storyline in Final Fantasy and it can really make your haerts baet its so fascinating thats why i love it.
