Why are there no items in the store?

U guys change ure rpg caracther setting. generic fighters suck with a capital S. I reccomend dark fighters like the black mage. It has much more items to buy and btw the shop only restocks about once a month

Anyway, the store stocks once a certain set of time I'm pretty sure it's once every five weeks or something (Yes that's a month but some months have less weeks) or when we see a need to do so.

Also check your settings, if you're a White Mage, there may be more for you to buy than another class. afterall Monks really shouldn't be wearing chainmail and carrying a masume.
