do you still look forward to christmas?

i have been listening to the radio this morning and the topic was like "do you still look forward to christmas?"

i wanted to ask you guys this question. in the radio station, they received messages saying that they dont look forward to christmas because it reminds them of how lonely they are, some said that they dont look forward to it because they dont have money, some said that they dont look forward to it because something bad happened one christmas time..

i still look forward to christmas even if im broke.. its not really the gift that counts during yuletide season.. it is your thoughts and love that goes with the person that matters most, right? anyway, yuletide season is when i get to be childish. it is the time of giving and sharing. in this holiday season, i get to sing my favorite christmas song "give love on christmas day" without my brother telling me that it is out of season because it is in season... hehehe...

all in all.. i still look forward to christmas.... i love it... there are plenty of delicious foods and the weather is cold... i like the cold.. i dont like hot seasons that much...

Not as much as when I was young. My family is no longer a 'family'. Christmas has kind of lost all meaning to me these days. I mean, once you take away all the material items, all you have left is family. And when that goes too...? It becomes like any other day...

I love christmas, even though my parents seem to fight the whole time. I just don't let it stop me, because I'm the one putting up the christmas tree, if I don't nobody else does. I don't know why but I'm just happy during christmas no matter what happens. I seem to enter my own kind of little world. But I'm really sorry to hear that you guys feel that way but I do understand. I really wish I could help.

I do look forward to christmas, I love the food *droole* and all the love that is around! It's fun for me, cuz I'm celebrating with my friends mor than I do with my family. I love to give presents...and get ^_^

I sitll look forward to it, not as much as I did when I believed in Santa, but I still get clothes, money, games and cds. Besides X-mas isn't about the presents, its also about spending time with family, so yeah I look for it.

Sorry, I think I kind of lost the spirit of it. Personally, I think the whole Spirit of Christmas thing is starting to get real old now. And also, I'm not really looking forward to it for personal reasons....

Oh! I've got to say something... I saw a store selling Christmas decorations the other day. +_+ ... ok. It's not even Thanksgiving yet! Hell, not even Thanksgiving, it's not even Halloween! I think that's insane. They shouldn't be selling Santa stuff and christmas decorations yet. And they were in the front of the store, so they weren't all the way in the back from last year. =\

I still enjoy Christmas. I don't feel the same way about it now than when I was a little kid, but I still like it.

I always look forward to Christmas. I'm agnostic, but for me, it's more about my family being together. We don't have much money, but my father makes sure to do his best on presents. Since I can't have a job yet, though, my present for him is cleaning up my house, yard work, and letting him relax every once in a while.
