I like it it's really cool. I can't believe you did that in color pencil I would have gotten blisters from sharpening all thows pencils. I hope you do more drawings ^_^

Your art isn't bad but there are several areas of improvement depending on your style.

Forewarning: This is ONLY MY OPINION. You can take it or not, that's up to you, just don't start a war cause you think I'm insulting you.

Personally, I tend to like a more realistic, anatomically correct form of art, I don't know if you feel the same way. But some of your pictures focus a little too much on using lines to define shapes. Granted lines get the job done, like in the drawing of Vincent Valentine, clearly we can see his nose from the rest of his face, but most people don't have lines on their face to depict their nose.

You asked for comments to be honest so here goes. You need to work more on proportioning, contour lines, and focus less on edging out shapes using thick boundries and let shading do more work. I think you have great potential, much more so than I could ever claim to, but as a fellow artist these are just a few aspects I think you could do with some improvement. It's better to softly flesh out shapes, countours, depth, etc using tones, rather than simply drawing a line to define the eye from the face, the nose from the cheeks, the upper from lower lip. Your proportioning isn't bad, but you seem to have some issues with the curvatures of the body. I noticed on the bird man drawing and the other Cloud picture, that the muscles are kind of lumped together with no actually defining lines to distinguish muscle areas. The human body, male or female, has curves, and they should be noted when drawin, it is something many artists struggle with. They tend to (not counting stylistic curves) overemphasize the female's curves and underemphasize male curves. Girls aren't vases, and men aren't blocks of wood.

Uhhh that's all I have to say...I hope you aren't offended, but I figured an honest opinion is always best. LoL I remember when a friend of mine bluntly told me, "your art blows cause everything looks the same." It hurts but that should just motiviate you to improve. Good luck with you art!

woah those are good! hope you don t mind if i give you some poiners:

when you re doing the hair - particulary of ff7 characters - try to draw the main chunks of hair first (i didn t know what else to call them) then detail them separately... you know ..like cloud s messy hair ... try to do those large spikes or whatever they re called (you can add some shadows two) then add the hair drops but not too many .. i think it would look better if the hair was done simpler - anyway before you can do that i think there s another aspect that you need a little improvement on :
practice on making smoother lines in less time - learn how to do continuos, smooth lines in one stroke --> if you want to thicken the line then just add another one over ..or two or whatever ... i ve read that the best way to make such lines is to look not exactly at the point where the tip of the pen is, but rather imagine where the line will be in a fraction of a second - depending on how fast you draw - and look at that particular point - that s how i draw and it works out great

well .. i like the jin and mugen pic the best even though it s not colored but i think you can figure my overall opinion from the crituque above -- sorry if i pissed you off by giving advice about the basics but i think it could be really helpful

Seriously...those are the best drawings i've ever seen O.o obviously cartoons are better...but i mean the "pictures" not them put into a cartoon.

the drawing is good except for the chin. and the shading looks bad. also, if you are gonna color the clothes might as well color the skin right?
