So my advice is to use shadings and texture in your drawings. Mostly with the second drawing that you posted up that show from adult swim. Since you did not use colors.
The cloud picture is great, but the head shape size isn't very well. It's a bit too wide. You should try making an oval shape head. This way you can actually draw a chin, cheeks and give it shape to your liking. Make sure you do not erase the oval circle that you didn't use. Until you are done with adding the facial features. Then just erase the left overs after you create it.
