what came first the chicken or the egg???

i think the egg came first cause if you think about it birds are hatched from eggs seeing as they are not mammals, the chicken, way back when, must have been a defromity in another type of bird but was still hatched from and egg.

Looking at it from an evolutionary standpoint the Chicken would have had to come first, since the egg it hatched from was technically another species egg.

To explain, let's assume that chickens evolved from ducks (I don't know who they evolved from, just bear with it). As it evolves the bird and egg are both Duck. Eventually the species would change until the last chain that could be classified as a duck lays an egg and a chicken hatches from it. The egg was still a duck egg, but it produced a chicken.

I think the chicken came 1st, then comes the egg. Some kinda bird must've evolved during thousands of years ago to become chicken...so then comes the egg, as in a real chicken egg.

According to teh big bang theory (the most accurate and sensible one), the universe was just a big ball of super-hot gas, blah blah, high gravity, condense, kaboom, galaxies made, yadda yadda. Anyways, when earth first became, there was obviously no-living forms of anything on the planet. It was just newly terraformed, and wasn't just a big ball of molten material. What is believed to be the first form of life on the planet are these simple little Amoeba.

Those little amoeba became fish, then turned into dinosaurs, once the whole volcano thing burst land out. Then wife was wiped out, then the ice age came, then everything almost died out again, and then came the animals that we see today. Which kind of reminds me this is totally irrelevant to my opinion.

It must have been the chicken that came first, because the amoeba COULDN'T have evolved into an egg. I mean, it IS possible, but extremely slim. It turned into an ANIMAL, which did it's whole evolution thing, and eventually produced the chicken which produced the egg, which produced the food that goes into our stomachs. It's simple.

Actually, there's nothing simple about it. I strongly advise that you remember your manners when supporting your opinion. There are plenty of Christians within this forum, so try to give the same respect others give to you. Just try to remember that it is called a "theory" for one simple reason, because it can't be considered Scientific law. No human beings were present during the beginning of the world, and there is no way for any of us to ever prove whether the evolutionary theory is correct. The assertions of the Bible may sound ludicrous to you but the "Big Bang" and "Evolutionary" theories may sound just as foolish to Christians. Anywho, I do believe the chicken came first. I am a Christian, but I sincerely do not believe the world was created in 7 days or that all animals were created on the same day. That's funny, a Christian that also believes in the "evolutionary theory." Another thing, some people are getting the evolutionary theory mixed up with something else, or they're probably trying to dumb. Another bird didn't just lay an egg with a chicken inside. I didn't say that a bird just suddenly laid an egg with a chicken in it. I said that it eventually made a chicken. And in evolutionary terms, eventually means several million years <_<
