Why can't I upload?

I've been trying to upload a pic I took with a digital camera, which fits all the requirements in the image uploader, it's 1600X1200, 156KB, there's no whitespace in name, and it's a .Jpg, so why can't I upload it?

Why type of message are you getting when you try?

it says That file type is not allowed! but it says it accepts JPG. Files. which the picture is.

The end file extension is it JPG or is it jpg

Actually...you can upload both .JPG and .jpg

and if you disagree...tell me

Actually the system has problems sometimes with JPG unless it's been fixed, I know there was an issue in regards to this before. I know when browsing the internet capitals make a big difference on file extensions.

Now the uploader might be taking .JPG and it might not.

And yea. .JPEG doesn't exactly go over lovely with it. just c/p it into a new document using a imaging program and re-save it. Do NOT enter the file extension yourself and it should save correctly as long as you choose the correct format from the drop-down list.

I know there was an issue in regards to this before.

I was the one who reported it before, and for those people who need to know if when you try to upload check the extention on the file (for those trying to upload .jpg files) if the extention reads in upper case all you have to do is change the extention to lower case and the upload should work (it did for me)
