College Aid Sucks

Okay.. I am about to pass out, just typing this, because my job is VERY tiring.. So you'd think a sit down desk job isn't tiring. IT IS. It's BORING. I work as a Loan Assistant for College Financial Aid.. Which is why I'm rarely here now, because this past month or so, we've been having mandatory overtime.. Which is okay I guess, because of the pay.. But it really does suck.

It's a lot of information to know. We need to know about every detail about the PELL grant.. The Perkins Loan, the PLUS Loan.. And Stafford of course... But anyway.. Do any of you have to apply for FAFSA? I know everything about it.. Because people call about it all the time.. >>'

Anyway.. The school I am working for (not literally on campus, but might as well be), is Saint Leo University. In Florida. Anyone heard? If so.. I know just about everything on that school.. Not by choice, mind you.. I live in Texas. O_o'

I didn't need to apply for any loans which was good because having to line up for at the financial office is a pain. I feel your pain with desk job just checking and answering questions as well as typing a lot. I've done inputs of Record of employment, man, I never knew so many people go for unemployment claims. At the end of the day I just want to stay from typing or computer period which I spent many hours on for fun stuff.

I feel your pain...I was given a test on all my loans...so your at ST. Leo? thats cool. Im at the art institute of ft lauderdale...I hate finacial aid....cause if I dont take certain amount of classes at a time then I have to reformat my whole finacial aid...bah!

Oh no.. Lol. I'm not a SLU student.. I WORK for the school. xD The school calls ME, for information on their students Financial Aid.. I am a financial aid consultant/officer. So usually Saint Leo students will call ME, and ask about their financial aid.. And what to do and so on and so forth. And I have the SCHOOL calling me, asking me to reform one of their students loans, etc.
