Phantom of the opera musical good or bad?

it twas a perdy good musical. I just LOVED the Phantom's theme music! It was so cool!
And the chandelier effect at the beginning rocked!

I went to go see the play years ago. O__o .... I was kind of young to appreciate the music, but now I think it's nice. It's very good for a musical.

Before seeing the remake movie of Phantom of the Opera, I had seen the play. The play was wonderful and extravagent. With effects that you couldn't imagine to be pulled off in live audience. But I also adored the movie. As a lot of things were changed, for time and other reasons, I still enjoyed it. With the better special effects it had, due to being on-screen, it just brought more livelyhood to the production. ^_^ Simply great, either way.

We're talking about the REMAKE, right? The music was terrific, because Andrew Lloyd Webber is extremely talented, but I think they should have cast a better Christine. I didn't like her.

Really? I thought she played a wonderful Christine. Her voice didn't waver too much, either. So it produced good quality.

Well her voice was alright, but it's called a studio. Studios have so many gadgets to make your voice sound straight and even and stuff *my dad is a producer.* So, her voice can easily be fixed, you know? It was more her acting that I didn't like. But nevertheless, it's the phantom of the opera, so it's perfect. ^_^

Well actually they made all the singers sing by them selfs with minimal twicking by the gadgets.

Aye, I enjoyed the music. It was absolutely lovely. If you can understand it, it's even prettier. The plot is amazing though I wasn't completely satisfied with the ending for some reason.

Yeah. The whole idea of the movie was to get it as close to the play as possible without it actually being played out like one. So the voices were only edited in the utmost areas. {An exmaple would be how airy the voice sounds. Though they're all singers so the voice pressure would be most maximum.}

I liked the movie but the original opera is still the best. The ending left a little to be desired but it was overall an 8 out of 10. But I still say that they should have used Michel Crawford's voice for the Phantom's . . . so very awesome . . .
