Summer time w00t!
In the past couple of days I've been finding a few little frustrations to which I'd like to mention a few things.
For those who are unaware, we have other areas than just misc.
Anime Topics do NOT go here
Manga Topics do NOT go here
Fan Art, Fan Fic, and Music Topics do NOT go here
If you have a QUESTION post it in Site Issues
That's what I have for moving topics in terms of spam...
Let's make a few things clear
Build a story posts, which are all fun and games, they go in Fan Fics and to my knowledge MUST BE APPROVED BY THE MODERATOR THERE.
Quizes. I like doing quizes and I'm sure other people do too. That does not mean you post A billion different quizes all in the same night. One person has started five quiz topics all in the same night... which was annoying because if I go through the archives some of them even already existed. Not done by the same person but HELL it's annoying.
These are some Generic type posts we already HAVE
-Picture Thread; It'll be started by Moderators ONLY.
-Secret Admirer Thread; We only need one of these. Got admired GO THERE.
-Battle Thread; WE HAVE A THREAD FOR THIS, do NOT post more of them.
-Jokes Thread; Different type of joke? Doesn't matter it goes in the same thread.
-Help Thread; You're having relationship problems, okay we understand but we don't need 20,000 threads about it... honestly if every member had their own "help me my bf sucks" or gf or what have you thread we'd be drowning in "omg he's so mean11111!!!!" And honestly not cool.
The following threads just plain aren't allowed unless pre-approved by the Moderator:
-Topics about RELIGION; We've tried it and everytime it's ended in flaming
-Anything to do with Michael Jackson; There's been no maturity
-Topics on Same-Sex; While I've seen the forums do it well the last few we've had have ended in bashing.
This doesn't mean you'll never see them, just means that they have to be pre-approved. The way we'll approve them is if -we- have the time to watch them carefully. And the right will be taken away if we see that it's being abused.
Yes, it's summer, yes we have more time to spend lounging about the forums and having a good time.
One word posts. They're not allowed, face it we don't allow it.
Want to talk like that. Acey gave us a CHAT dang nabbit, let's use it. Look up, it's in RED you can't miss it. (Aware that clashes) It's RIGHT BESIDE the RPG function you guys are so fond of... CLICK it.
For the past week or more I've come on here and cleaned up only to find that ten minutes later Klutz or Bean has had to do the same thing.
Even Minako who has a lot to do already has to come in here and clean up after people.
If you're NOT SURE, ask us through PRIVATE MESSENGER, we're more than willing to help you. ON MANY occasions we're here to do EXACTLY that.
Hell there is a Search and the search takes MERE seconds.
"Sorry if this is in the wrong place" Just doesn't work, try checking and looking, then and only then once you're as sure as you can be make your post.
Everything is a lot more fun when we place things right, and we have a good time with it. ^_^; Then Klutz, Bean, Minako and I can come in and make you guys love us rather than hate us everytime we're there.
Kinda looks bad when you open the forums and all you see is closed topics, we don't want that, and I'm sure you don't want that.
Anyway I'm done blabbing, all the built up steam died. (I came on this morning to moderate a lot of threads... it was really not fun at 7:00am =P )
