I listen to depressing music. It makes me more depressed, but I like it.
Be alone and think about the depression and take it out alone. (so i dont look weak obviously) whenever someone comes near me, usually go away, most the time, i just look at snow or rain while im doing the above.
I cry, think about depressing stuff, cry some more. Er.... think about all my flaws and cut my arms, I still have some scars.

I cut myself constantly and think about death 24/7 because of they feeling that no one cares about me... i hate the fact that no one would ever want to go out with me either because they are to afraid to get to know me or that i look terrible...

When i'm depressed I usualy take it out on an unexpecting game. Or, if it's an online game, an unexpecting person on a game. that, or I draw...

...When I was younger I used to cry whenever I'm depressed, but as I grew older, I noticed that crying only made me look pathetic. So I stopped doing that immediately.
I either write ticked off poetry, listen to MCR, or rant in my blog.

I write really long depressing poems, but that seems to help me vent, so it's all good!! ^^ Maybe I should post one of them here!! ^^
Some of the darkest poetry has been the most soul stirring. While not a poem per se, Poe's "red death" short story about the plague is chilling and incredibly detailed and well written with lots of imagery. Frosts poems, perhaps not dark but sombre, are very moving.

When im depressed the best thin for me to do in lock myself in my room and just sleep there no point listenin to music cos it get me more depressed but i only get depressed if i have not seen my bf for a while
If I can, talk to someone about it. If not, turn on some nice ranty music, eat something yummy and do some excersize. Keeping fit and all that improves self esteem slightly, but more important than that, apparantly it triggers the release of serotonin in the brain, which is the chemical responsible for happy-feel-good-ness. =)
Its not the easiest way to trigger a release of serotonin, but on the plus side the extra effort put into releasing it means avoiding a risk of damaging my IQ and memory, which is something I prefer to avoid. Keeping hold of IQ is generally more useful for staying happy long-term than a quick shot of happiness. (unless you get rid of *all* of it, but there are *waaaay* too many other things to say about that... and I'm not in a particularly essay-ish mood right now.)
Or if I can't be bothered with all that just go crash round a friends. That usually cheers me up.
I listen to music, play video games, write, read, and/or sleep when I'm depressed. I also like to go out and play some basketball, to loosen up and calm myself.
