It's all over with me now
And I'll kill you
You changed me
You drove me mad
You robbed me of my loving, It's you!
Still I'm sad that you betrayed me
It's all over with me now
All over with me now
And I'll kill you!

So the last book I read and really enjoyed was "Shadow's Bend" which is a rather amusing story about H.P. Lovecraft as he journeys across the America of 1935 with a woman named Glory and a fellow cult writer, Robert E. Howard, in hopes of saving the world from the very creature he so often wrote about - the evil God Cthulhu.
Side note on Robert E. Howard: in case you didn't know, he was the writer of Conan the Barbarian.
The book I read before that, however, was one I raved about for weeks, I'm sure. "Calculating God" was the name. I trust that if anyone reads it in the future, or already HAS read it, they'll find the alien race of the Wreeds to be fascinating, as did I. Not being able to count is strangely interesting. The entire book was peppered with amusing quips, as well.
this year I have really liked Herman Melville's Rose Buddy and Benito Cereno. Both are almost as awesome as Moby Dick and would be enough to make any writer achive immortality.
Also Ovid's Love Letters or Heroiads. The letter of Penelope to Ulysses or Ariadne to Teseus are among the best love's writting ever.
Italo Calvino "If a traveler in a winter Night" an awesome exercise of narrative and application of literature's theory
Pushkin's Tales of Belkin, awesome short stories of a great russian writer
Dostoievisky's The Gambler...I have not seen anything about Dostoievisky that isnt great, so...
Kafka - I read his diary, his letter to his father and 2 books of short stories. Kafka rules.
Finished Ezra Pound Abc of reading, which is a great book about english poetry.
And starting the third volume of Jorge Luis Borges Complete Works, this one i know before hand I will like.
BLOOD AND CHOCLATE!!!!!!

Stop saying that! My friend is trying to make me read the Harry Potter series....but I don't wanna
The last book I read was from the Sweep series, well I read the whole sweep series of 14 books which took me about 2 weeks.
The last book i read and enjoyed was "How to Make Love Like a Porn Star" by Jenna Jameson. Which is not a how to book, it's Jenna's autobiography.
The book I'm currently reading is called "An ocean in Iowa" which is pretty kewl because I live in Iowa, I really like the book too, it's about a boy who think 7 is gonna be his lucky year, but his mom leaves him and the family and now the boy is trying everything to get her back, he misses her alot and cries too..But I really do like it.
If you're gonna give me rep, give me bad rep.Thanks.
I just finished "Eldest" by Christopher Paolini? a couple of days ago.
It's the second book in the sequal of "Eragon."
I highly recommend it for anyone who likes dragons and magic. That sort of stuff.

It sounds more interesting if you read the book =3
Right now I am reading "Stone of Tears". It is book number two in the Sword of Truth Series by Terry Goodkind. And this is my second time reading it. It is my favorite Series of all time.
"Any child can tell you that the sole purpose of a middle name is so he can tell when he's really in trouble."
I'm going to be one of those really annoying and naive readers and say 'Harry Potter 6'.. and I also recently read a play called "The Cruciple".. it was a school project but I actually enjoyed it and so bought myself a copy and read it quite a bit..
So when the birds fly South, I'll Reach up and hold their Tails
Pull up and out of hereAnd bridle the autumn gales
Last book I read was "The World Jones Made" By Philip K Dick. Great one, though I prefer his later works.
Currently reading "A Scanner Darkly" by the very same Philip K Dick. Great one. Movie coming up next year, with Keanu Reeves.. Looking forward to that one.
I last saw dan brown`z book.....kinda intersthing... ^^
I've been reading his series as well. But I find that they're becoming a bit predictable. You don't see it this way?Originally Posted by Kaoru-dono

It's still an alright series, but Goodkind is so full of himself that I don't really want to support him.
I'm really enjoying the series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R Martin. I can't wait for his next book. I also want the new Robert Jordan book ^_^
Warriors the new proficy 2 moonrise by erin hunter.
'The Martian Chronicles' By Ray Bradbury
"Core Techniques and Algorithms in Game Programming" - Daniel Sänchez and Crespo Dalmau
anyways the last book I read that I really enjoyed was Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
I live in Switzerland!
The last book i read was Digital Fotress by Dan Brown. I must say, it's quite and interesting and impressive book. Thrilling, but i think Demons and Angels was better though. That guy's a brilliant writer. I still haven't read The Da Vinci Code yet though. T___T I don't have time to read....
Awesome sig+avy set made by [kaisen] <3
Last book completed: "Back When We Were Grownups" by Anne Tyler. Astounding writer, that woman. She's the reason my writing has turned to an obsession with character studies. Nobody does it like her... She'll take a handful of characters, and write what is basically a snapshot of their lives. Nothing flashy, nothing inherently predictable. Hers aren't stories with clear beginnings, middles, and endings, because life isn't so clear-cut. And I was most pleased that in this book she strayed from her tendency to push for the happy-note ending.
I come from a family of readers. The fact is, if you grow up with people who enjoy reading, and access to books, there's a good chance you will become a reader yourself. Myself, I grew up in a house with parents who LOVE books, in a house that doesn't have a room without a shelf or two of books lining a wall.
I remember vividly being both a dream-come-true and frustration to my second grade teacher. We students were given readers based on our reading levels. Much of the class was positioned at the same level. Two or three of us required advanced books. It got to the point in which my teacher ran out of advanced readers to give me. She started getting books from the junior high, and even then I was flying through them ^^;;; And I've never stopped. Before bed? I read. Lunch break at work? I read. Solitary breakfast? I read. And so on...
Uh...which one? I've read "Digital Fortress" (didn't think much of it), "Da Vinci Code," and "Angels and Demons."Originally Posted by kurumirina

Hmmm, let's see... I read The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown, then a book about the Da Vinci Code, and now I'm reading something about gnosticism, and I'm also researching on psychiatry and philosophy. I'm a pretty busy girl.
My favorite book ever is one none of you has ever heard of. It's called "A Bull Is Looking For You" and it's the most puzzling piece of writing I've ever read.
"Never Trust A Dead Man" I forgot who wrote it.It was a library book I borrowed.
