Remake of ff7 on ps3

I finnally heard that there remaking FF7 on the ps3 its on gamespot and ign, i can't wait for it to come out but does anyone know anything bout it like release date and the changes they've made, i need to know lol

As long as they don't do anything to the story...I'll welcome it gladly...it would be so much more epic with better graphics.

It would be awesome it was my favorite game for PS1 and the story was great and characters were awesome

If thats true then there prolly isnt a confirmed release date.... Because the PS3 doesnt have a confirmed released date...

But since the PS3 is coming in a year (or more) I say that it'll come out in about a year or 2....

that's great..finally FF7 again...

and yeah if they don't change the story it'll be great..just make the graphic's better...but they could let the version have some new events...like being able to revive aeris..or fighting more weapons...maybe make the chocobo races not take forever due to waiting at the finish line for the others to cross

It is supposed to follow shortly after PS3, so the spring of '06 will probably be the date, although Square tends to undershoot the release date of games a lot *cough, Kingdom Hearts 2, and FF XI*. They are not changing the story line at all, and outside of better graphics and maybe a few more side quests, I don't see many changes being done to the game, since no change is a good change when it comes to remakes.

There IS a Technical Demo (DEMO) to demonstrate the power of the PS3, But that is not a trailer or anything.....

dont you think its bit of a rip off just to make more money bringing it out again is a bad move because people like ff7 because its a thing a first now one has ever seen that thing before but bringing it out again is a rip off

They are? That's wonderful; I hope they change the graphics though, but keep the story and everything of the like the same. The graphics on the other game were less than lovable.

Im so going to buy a PS3.I wanna play final fantasy 7 so bad!!...I watched the short movie trailer of the ps3 version of FF7.The graphics looks as good as the graphics in advent children.Hehe Cloud looks hot as usual.
