totally off topic but my sixth period class just recently got out sub fired, she was a total witch, and would let noone leave, so a friend went into the corner and pee'ed in a bottle, the sub sent him to the office, and then the sub got fired for not letting him out, it was great, we think she commited suicide... which is a big fear for new people in the school to have to witness such evil unleashed upon a teacher...

Most fears are getting girlfriends: There this girl who has a bully for a boyfriend, but she is not into to him like that(only because she wants to be famous by dating a bully), but she likes you, of course the bully boyfriend is with her. This is one of the fear, for a boy to go through with in high school.

As a high school teenage boy, I know hwat its like to, well, BE a teenage boy in high school. There are a lot of smart kids at my school that I like to hang with, and I also hang out with a few jocks and B-ball players. People talk a lot at my school...A LOT! I, myself, am more of a calm, cool, off-to-the-side kinda guy; I don't run my mouth alot, I just sit back and soak it all in. The girls...well, I got a few friends who are girls (NOTE: NOT girl-friends). There's Jenny, Carey, Liz, and Corey, as well as a few others. I'm not really afraid of high school; heck, I walk around like I own the place, with a slight smirk on my face, knowing that I'm one of the smartest, most chill people in the school.

i think girls have more to fear in school, we fear if we dont look good, fear more about what others think of us, like a lot of us worry about our weight, except me , i actually want to gain weight not lose it, we fear losing our friends or if they back stabb us there more but cant think of it . but boys i dont think fear as much in high school, but then i could be wrong, i dont know cause im a girl

Girl's and boy's both have things to fear; really, it depends on the person.

One boy might be afraid a girl will reject his offer for a date, and to him, that might be the worst phobia ever. Another guy might be afraid of not making a sports team, and that could be a huge fear to him.

And in response to the topic: there is nothing to be afraid of, because high school is a joke despite ignorant teenagers acting like it's the center of their life. Once you're out of high school you realize just how utterly meaningless and petty it is.

I mean when I was in high school I remember the popular clique, the nerdy clique, the jocks, the preps etc etc, and how everyone thought this was the most important thing ever.

Fast forward to having been out of high school for 5 years, and I see how it all meant nothing. The kids who thought they were all that were hit hard by reality when no one outside high school gave two shits about them in the real world, when the popular girls went to university to discover there were thousands upon thousands of other students cooler and more interesting than they are, etc.

It sort of puts everything into perspective. Of course, good luck explaining that to a 17 year old.

Well, there certainly are guys at my High School that join gangs, just to impress a girl, get power, or start up a hustle. Its stupid and pointless, really. Some guys get forced into it, because if they don't, they feel as though they might be harmed or become an outkast. Meh, I don't even talk to those a-holes. People with such ignorance...they aren't even worth my time. Of course, there are also the guys that want to pretend they are some kind of ganster, with their pants saggin' off their butt and shirts with drug references. Now, joining sports in order to be cool, I don't have a big problem with, unless that guy starts using steroids and enhancements. That's just lame.
