Yeah DOA is a game that i like playing...half the time anyways.
it's a very easy game to play when it comes to controll, but later on and farther on i sometimes get really bored of it. it's basically the same thing as the other DOA serious, just different meanings, but i guess why many ppl likes it so much.
For me, i rarely play it anymore, but only when i'm going against somebody is when i reconsider.
Oh, and it's graphics is killer good!

When the hell did this thread pop up!? DoA is my all time fav game, it is the sole reason behind me purchasing an XBox in the first place! I own all DoA games, and almost all Tecmo Inc games.

DoA, the first game to use interactive envirotments and an effective counter system. In my eyes it's the best beat'em'up out there. Normaly for people that do know what i'm like i would post a long paragraph but i'm gonna save that for a rainy day.

Anyone have DoA: Ultimate?

DOA Ultimate rules,i absolutely love that game. The graphics rule, it's very fun, and it's an easy game to get used to. It's not one of those games that u need to play hours upon hours to actually get semi good.

Dead or alive is a pretty good game, not really into it but I do like the graphics.

Shadow is right, this game is not for button bashers. I win most of my match's without doing anything, the opponent ends up killing themself by attacking me. I can't help it if i counter their moves, this game can't be beat by just attacking, you need to master the counter system enough to survive against experienced players.

Counter-system isn't all too hard i think. Once you know a players move's then you can make a judgment as to whether it will be high, mid punch, mid kick, or low then can counter-effectivly. Take Jan-Lee for example, most of his effective techniques consists of high attacks, so high counters are the main ones to use. You just have to watch how they move and react fast enough. With Kasumi (my character of choice) if you use the teleportation counter for her (forgot name) that will counter mid punch, mid kick and high attacks, so 3 counters in 1 not to mention giving you and chance to open up a combo without the opponent able to block of counter it.

well the question is : how can you get new Clothes??

To get the costumes you have to just complete the story mode, then complete it again like 3 times to get another costume then another number times. All depends what DOA it is. If it's 3 then for some costumes you have to play survival and obtain the XBox prototype item for the last costume. In DOA:U you have a number of costumes on easy then on normal then hard. But for DOA 3, just keep playing through on story mode over and over till you get to Hitomi's 7th then get the silver XBox, that's if i remember correctly.. been so long since i played 3, currently play on DOA:U now
