Some parents have problems with their kids watching animes eh! agree?

well...it depends i guess. My mom and dad doesn't approve of animes that are..err...R rating..but they allow me to watch the other type of anime. As long as it didn't interupt my school work too. But i think thats why your parents don't like it, that you watch anime, plus my friends said that you get these ideas. @_@ but im not one of those type of people.

my mom caught me watching hentai( sad i know) and she started yelling at me. She questions ever anime i watch even hamtaro.

Ha I'm very lucky because my parents don't know the difference between a cartoon and anime.

Most anime is just fine. It really depends on what your parent allow and don't allow. Besides that there should be no problems.

My parents dont care if i watch anime. I know 3 big major reasons why some parents dont like their kids watching anime. Ill take some exapmles from different shows
1.Death and blood. For instance when Goku gets shot throght the heart by Vegetas powerful beam them dies with blood every where.

2.Pictures of girls in showers etc.. (I wont go too in detail) Like when in Inuyahsa sees kagome bathing he immediatley looks away.

3. Too mature or story line too adultish.What if a little kid watches any adult animes?

My mom thinks anime is just a waste of time and I can't learn anything from it. She knows the difference between anime and cartoons! I have this urge to tell her how much she is so wrong and answer her back but I can't! waaahhh!

My dad always hated anime...and still don't know why he hates it so much...though my mom does like some anime series specially Lain...she really liked it! ^ _ ^

One of the big differences between anime and american cartoons is value. Most american cartoons are about one thing, comedy. Anime has a wide variety of genre's in which most hold some type of moral or meaning. For instance in a lot of the anime's I like there is a strong emphasis on family ties and values, like in siblinghood. My sister and I were at each others throats most of the time until we each started watching anime. I think anime is a great tool for teaching those kinds of family values to anyone old enough to watch them.

They fail to see that anime is an actual culture of Japan. I mean there are lots of people who study different cultures around the world so why can't we take an interest in one? Sometimes my dad MAKES me turn whatever anime I'm watching off. If you ask me I think he is abusing his power as head of the house. I don't take up the T.V. that much!

thats how my dad is but i usually watch anime movies so he just comes in and turns it off so he can watch whatever he wants
