worst RPG ever.

So, you've played a few table top RPGs before. So tell us, what was your worst experience ever? What GM or Player made the game suck?

Wait... i'm confuzled now, so you mean Table Top games right or RPG video games?

Anyway, my worst experience was a player who played a cowardly goblin thief who wanted to join the assasins. Yeah, sounds weird, and he didn't play too well either. He clearly stated that he was a coward, yet he kept trowing himself in the line of fire. The worst part was that he thought he was playing perfectly, even after we gave some hints that he wasn't.

Ok then, well an experience i had was when my Necron Monolith got taken down in the 2nd turn when the game started, was taken down by a Tau Hammerhead equiped with a Railgun (S-10, AP-1) went straight through the Monoliths armour like it was nothing, that effectivly crippled my invading ground forces as i was unable to deep strike any units nor was i able to use the Ordinance weapon - this is all Warhammer 40k by the way.

Another thing i rememeber was when and and a friend were having just a 1500 point army battle, my friends army was mainly consisted of Tactical Sqauds of Space Marines divided into groups of 5 so that he could equip more Rocket Launchers. For him to take my Monolith down he has to roll a d6 and a 4 to hit, 6 for a glancing hit (as that's all he can do with the Rocket Launchers strength) and a 6 destroy it, so a 4, 6, 6, slim odds! The game went like this. Deep Stike Monolith in second or third turn (deep stike is an ability to teleport units to a selected location in easier terms) So Monolith right in the front of all his units, (Monolith has a main weapon with 2 abilities, one can deep strike and unit to it's current position or it can fire it's main cannon as a weapon) So since the rest of my units were on the othere side of the playing field i deep strike a unit of 12 Necron warriors to the Monolith, each warrior can fire 2 at 12" so 24 shots from there standard rifle which is strong enough to take tanks down! whilst moving a unit of Wraiths followed by Scarabs 12" forward (Necrons, when they die you get to roll a D6 at the beginning of your next turn, if you roll a 4, 5, 6 they are resurected if a 1, 2, 3 they remain dead) they are almost invincible with an armour save of 3+ also! So he makes his move, fires everything at my Monolith and Warriors, Monolith is unharmed (one of the biggest baddest units in the game!) some warriors fall but are brought back next turn. Now begins my turn, move the warriors 6" away from the Monolith to make room for the next deep strike of 12 warriors, another 24 shots plus the 24 from the other unit. not to mention about 18 shots from the Monoliths defensive weapon for a 12" radius. His forces are in ruins, Wraiths move up another 12" same thing happens as before, my turn, deep strike Wraiths accompanied by the Necron Lord, fire 48 shots, move into assault phase and finish rest in close combat! Not exactly a bad story but a fun game none the less

heh. Necron player.. I used to work for GW. good company. awesome discounts, Anywho. I play nids. I built a 2000 point army inside of 3 weeks. Fully painted and everything.

Worst WH game I played though was when I was playing my Army of Slavania. .
Vampire Counts - Storm of Chaos list

First turn stupid empire player drops a morter shell RIGHT ontop of my generals head. Kills him and his small unit of zombies. Game was over before I could even move. WORST thing is, I had a 12 and 0 record for the store and I was beat by a total NOOB! ... using parts of the stores own army. I got dubed the one turn wonder from that battle... it sucked.

Wow that is bad. 'Nids' as you call them was my first choice of army but i went to Necrons, also considering Chaos but i just like Necrons. And you gotta be lucky i've never seens discounts on any Warhammer stuff!

Anywho i don't have to many bad stories but here's one i thought was funny. Opponent had a few tactical squads of marines, i was just was sending a unit of 3 Wraiths with a Necron Lord (equiped with warscythe and destroyer body), now that's 12" movement for that unit, so move 12" and 6" for assault movement. 18", Wraith's are amazing close combat specialists and Necron Lord with the Warscythe means they don't armour saves. That's 3 attacks each, kill one squad and since there in assault they can be fired upon. So once i'm done with them i can move to another squad withing 18" so to the next squad. All i did was that, kill one squad and move to the next!
