What are your thoughts about Reincarnation?

I've been in the "meaning of life" thread, and now I want to see what others opinion or reincarnation is. I will post my point of view on it after a couple others post.

It's hard to say - sometimes I believe in it. Sometimes I forget and believe that there's nothing when we die. Mostly, I believe, though. Humans have a vast amount of energy moving them around (as do animals; animals are also reincarnated) and I see it as a great big waste if that energy were to just disappear, having no further use.

Taking this not quite so seriously....

In my past life, I was a webcam. Barring from mind that I was born before the first webcam...

conceptually, matter, and anti-matter are always at an exact point. If the soul is considered a form of matter, then you could not destroy the matter itself, though the matter may become separated it would in turn become a part of something else, and thus reincarnation would occur.

I believe in Reincarnation, but it would be hard to prove, unless the person has
dreams of somesort from a previous life. I think we Reincarnate to learn from
different experiences and cultures.

It's more like unconcious thought, from your soul maybe. They come in
the form of really vivid dreams, which is all i know though.

I do believe somewhat in reincarnation. It is a strange consept to think that after we die, we just vanish. I have had experiences... but that's not what this thread is about. So yes, reincarnation is something I think could happen.

Reincarnation is something that is a possiblity but I think that there are all sorts of possibilitys out there and the only way to know for sure which is right is to die.

Hopefully you will become what you were before you came here. Be reincarnated into something similar to what you were before! Bring me a souvenir, kay?! I can't help but want to be mysterious about my theory. Actually, I just waiting for someone to ask about my theory to prove reincarnation.

okay therebel wats your theory, but first i have a question. have you guys seen big o, if u have the nu will know wat im talking about, roger teh negotiator is wanting to gain his memories, still with me, ok and in the last episodes, he gains them back, now my old sig wasoeple are not ruled by their memories: wat if their is some truth to that, wat if we are not ruled by ar memories becasue they are the same as the memories we have now, for in theory we repeat ourselves kinda makes sense, therfor my theory on reincarnation is that we are not reincarnated into another person, but that when the universe explodes are spirit or memories are transefered to our next body.

Ok check this out, and pay attention for it's good. As I see it, we can prove reincarnation by researching all recorded cases of "near death" experiences, and all "still born" births. If there is a corralation between the two, then there is a possiblity. See, I believe that when you have a "near death" experience and see the tunnel with the white light, that is really the birth canal. Leading to your next life, unless you learned all you are suppost to learn, then you go to Heaven or Hell. But when you turn back from the white light then there is no soul to enter the new body, thus a "still born" baby. Now this all is just theory, but you must admit it is an interesting one. I am tempted to apply for a Government Grant to do the actual research, but I don't know if I really want to know such things.

I believe reincarnation is real, i in fact had faint images flash in my head, images of places i've never been to and of people i've never seen.

You should research it and see it was memories of a past life or if it was just a dream.

well i did find i of my past lives because i study world war 2 and all, and i was looking at pictures of the Brandenburg Gate and i saw this one clear color picture of the gate at night, and all of a sudden i had this image of being in a staff car at night going throught the Brandenburg Gate looking up and seeing the big swastika flag flutering as i was going through, i aslo could feel and smell cool air on me, it was kind of like fall air. It was soo weird, and it felt soo reel! But even when i stopped having the image i could still feel fall air.

Well, I think that the big guy up there wanted less people crowding his place, so he made the people be reborn in different lives! Not sure but i'm just agreeing with DRE.

I am not really sure about RE-incarnation. But I do believe in INcarnation. Jesus, the Son of God, part of the Family of God, also He is God, was incarnated as a human being to die for our sins that we may know God's love. So I guess I would say I believe in incarnation, but I'm not to sure on reincarnation. If reincarnation can explain why I can't remember a certain area of my childhood then I guess I would have to consider if I was reincarnated. Also, reincarnation could explain one thing: When you meet someone for the first time but you feel like you've known them before. I think reincarnation would explain a lot of things for a lot of people. I'm still fuzzy on the issue.

Well we do know that after you die you return to the earth and the earth gives life from your body. We are organisms. So yeah, its like we're earths food. We destroy it while we live and we give it life when we die.


Anyway, if it is true I wanna be free in my next life.
