FF7 all over again!

Wouldnt it be great if they made a remake of final fantasy 7 for the PS2, with improved graphics and some new mini games in the golden saucer, it would be a hit, an improvement of the greatest game ever!

I heard a rumor that along with Advent Children there was going to be an FFVII for the PS2... i dont know about improved graphics or new mini games... but i do think its gonna happen... =)

No. No no no no no. It's not gonna happen. Square is only concentrating on the "compilation of FF7" so they're not doin any remakes, but there is still the movie and the sequel coming out for PS2. A remake would be great though.

for the compilation of ff7 they have one game out now in japan for cell phones and there working on a game that takes place after the meteor impact staring vincent valentine

hey boys and girls guess whatyour dream is goig to come true they are making a remake of the FF7 for the PSP or if u did not now playstation portable which comes out in america in late 2005 or early 2006 man it is goign to be friging awsome i saw some screeen shoots for it omg it is so cool and they improved the charcter model god this is going to be great noewhte only down side is that that psps i going to cost 250 but it has a good battery life andan awsome lcd screen and the graphics are just barly less than that of the ps2 i can't wait toplay thiis thin and to be onest they could have made it 500 dollars and i still would bye it if fo no other reason than just to pla the remade final fantasy 7 when it comes out i will have died and gone to rpg heaven

Sorry, I have to say that a PS2 remake would ruin FFVII. Look at the FFX games on PS2. Nothing but huge disappointments. Imagine the millions of FFVII fans running out to purchase the game, and realising that the updated version is nowhere near as good as it could be, like the other PS2 FF games. Fans would go berserk, critics would laugh, and purists of the original (like myself) would sit back and say "I told you so..."

The new FFVII games don't particularly appeal to me, either. The Vincent Valentine game, Dirge of Cerberus, is basically a Devil May Cry clone. The mobile game is, to the best of my knowledge, only being released in Japan, meaning gamers elsewhere will be left out. The only good-looking thing is Advent Children, which I cannot wait to see.

can't wait for the movie Advent Children which i think is coming this year (hope so). I also know the FFVII: Game Dringe of Cerbeus (or of the..forgot), you get to play as Vincet!(sorry can't spell either) But when i saw the graphics for the game....it wasn't so good. ;.; But i can't wait even though!

Yeah, I feel pretty stupid now. Forget what I said earlier, the one coming out for PSP is called Crisis Core so its probably the remake. Altogether the compilation of final fantasy 7 is made up of four things: Advent Children(AC), Before Crisis(BC), Crisis Core(CC) and Dirge of Cerberus(DC). Clever huh?

im interested in vincents new game iv seen the cover but that is it if you ask me the new ac and vincent game is to squeze more money out of ff7 as that was the most popular and im glad they did ac is gonna rock
