    Default End Justifies Means...

hmm...in world history today we were talking about the writer Machiavelli and discussing his book 'The Prince' and we were split over the issue of the main philosophy of the book which is 'the end justifies the means' and that a person should do all that is possible to get what they desire...

Note - I did not make this....i found it on the internet.....props to whoever did make it though....

Be careful,Machiavelli talks about the actions in politics and when you have to be a governor. It is true, not the ideal.
All that he says are actions that a governor must do to make his "Kingdom" powerful and his governament sucessful. You get in the power but once there you must do what is needed to the state not for yourself also. You can grow rich for example, but Machiavelli lets clear that getting richer and your realm poor is wrong.
Machiavelli was wonderful, his insight, clear and cynical, are true until this day.
