Devil May Cry saga

The first Devil May Cry game kicked @$$ the second one sucked @$$ the third on, however, is said to be going back to the original games roots. in other words, game play that is similar to the originals the only difference, this one is a prequel to the first. with inhanced graphics, new weapons, new ways to use weapon combinations to stop ur foes in their tracks and blunt weapons added to the mix of bladed weapons and guns, will the next Devil May Cry game truely be a success?? what do u think?

yeah its supposed tp be a prequel shows b4 Dante opened up his shop and all.
but the thing i dont get is Dante is stronger back then than he is now if u view trailers he is really strong.

lots of ne weapons and u can use ur hands and feet now

I know next to nothing on the 3rd game although i played the first 2. The 2nd infact sucks, it was yet another game that just insults me, since you mentioned that the 3rd is going back to it's roots i am expecting huge things from it then!

hmm....maybe that 2 sucked because of differnt group made it...and the reason dante is weaker in the other two is because hes older

i completed 1 and 3 they both rock and you should be able to play as vergil on 3

i liked all 3 but i also agree that 2 sucked , 3 has alot of good detail in it and i like the fact that dante talks also , right now im stuck inside that giant flying demon shown in one of the cutscenes , the boss is insanely hard.

3 is really cool. I think all the fights against vergil are easy (except mission 20 for the 1st time in normal mode). Even the first fight against him in DMD mode is easy. you should all visit my thread about DMC3.

I have only been able to play the first one, and am a bit hesitant to play the second one. However, I'm really wanting to to play the third one. I feel in love with the first and played it about ten times durring the time I rented it. It was rather short.

I read on a magazine about the game, about the graphics, they will be better, but the history i can say nothing, but i hope that it will be better than the other.

Yeah, that's part of the reason 2 was so bad. Capcom wanted a new DMC while it was still popular, the original team didn't want to rush it, and went off to work on Viewtiful Joe, so Capcom got a new team, and the focus was more about LOOKING cool than actually doing anything cool. It was a button masher, and actually being skillful didn't pay off. Even the little default pistols in the second one could tear through an entire level easily. So when they original team came back to make the third one, they made it much more difficult, made the rewards for skillful timing and careful play much greater, and even cut out the second game from the storyline altogether, saying it wasn't Dante, but some guy named "Enzo." So now technically, Devil May Cry 2 Isn't a Devil May Cry game.

i never personally played DMC 2 but my mate played and more or less completed it in like 2 hours and he said it was crap so i never got it, 3 is the best i love vergil he is so cool

if you like the first one you will love the third the gameplay plus the graphics are off the wall
