Theres already a thread on this awhile back but: (is my reply from the other thread)

I chose manga, as its more in depth than anime, its also was the begining of all anime and almost every anime is based on the manga counter-part, only with some slight changes. So basically manga is the uncut/undubed verion of there anime partner. I also think that manga is more for the serious manga AND anime fan. And my conclusion is that if there were no manga than there wouldnt be all these amazing anime titles we see today.

As for my favs, currently i like;

I am sort of reading some manga. My two favourites at the momment are Battle Angel Alita/Gunnm by Yukito Kishiro and Confidential Confessions by Reiako Momoichi.

And i'm half into Brain Powered by the god of all anime Yoshiyuki Tomino.

I'm also from the U.K and theres like 3 shops that are packed with mangas over these parts, a place called Forbiddan Planet is a good place as they have about 9 other branch's over the U.K.

I don't read magazines. I download the mangas from a Hungarian site, called Mangazin. There are a lot of manga, and certainly forum, news ...

I like both equally. Both anime and Manga. I think of them as the same thing, only one is in Book form and the other is in T.V. form.

Anyway Love Hina is my favorite Manga of all time. Followed closly by Negima
